Product Description
The Powerbase 1800W lawnmower is designed specifically for large gardens to ensure your lawn looks as good as possible. Key feature of this lawnmower is the rear roller, so your lawn will be left with a professional striped finish. This rear roller will also help to prevent scalping of the lawn. The height can be easily adjusted by the single lever - without the need of tools - from 70mm (ideal for the first cut of the year) down by 10mm increments to the lowest setting of 20mm, depending on the finish required. A total of 6 cutting heights are available.
This Lawnmower includes a mulching plug. When you use the mulching plug, rather than the grass being collected in the Ready Bag, the grass is finely cut and returned onto your lawn. This mulch add nutrients back into the lawn for healthier grass and also means that when cutting a large lawn, you don't need to stop to empty the bag. if you don't want to mulch and wish to collect the grass clippings, simply don't use the plug and use the Ready Bag as normal. Mulching is particularly useful when taking the top off the lawn for the first few cuts of the season.
All Powerbase electric rotary lawnmowers include patented Turbo Drive and Air-Lift technologies. Turbo Drive continuously ensures the correct amount of torque is applied to ensure an even cut, even through any thicker clumps of grass. Air-lift, inspired by wind tunnel testing and using a winged carbon steel blade, helps the cuttings to reach the back of the collection bag, enabling a high degree of grass collection.
This mower includes Powerbase patented 'Ready-bag'. The bag is ready to attach straight out of the box, and when not in use the bag collapses to almost be flat - perfect for easy storing. FYI 37cm does not have mulching function. I bought one because in store, on the price tag it was mentioned, that it has this function BUT then I called Powerbase customer service, and they confirmed that 37cm does not have the option to mulch (edited)

I'm after the 37cm one but not on offer 41cm seems to big for my small garden which will leave big stripes unless all the rollers on each model are tge same length

Never knew about mulching seems like a great feature for experienced gardeners , apparently its recommended to alternate between bagging an mulching to reduce thatch build up, I once left clipping on my lawn and it ruined my turf because it was about 2" long and shaded tye lawn under so mulching would of been perfect for that , I'm tempted (edited)
