Using lots of technology from the Apple AirPods Pro including the H1 chip these are brilliant for running or exercise. This is the black pair and at time of posting Amazon have 15 pairs 'Like New' (14 now as I just bought a pair as a backup for my other pair that I paid £170 for) for £85 and another 101 pairs that are Very Good for just £80.66 with various minor problems (for many just damaged packaging). If you don't like them you can return them but this seems a brilliant deal as they are normally £219.99 full price. There is even 1 pair listed for £65.05 if you want to take a risk on 'Acceptable' condition.

Still 2 like new left and over 90 very good!!! Fill your boots… (edited)
Like I mentioned yesterday, there was a deal last year for Dualsense at about half-price. IIRC an Amazon pallet broke or something like that, which damaged hundreds of controller boxes. Overnight they had hundreds of controllers at the Warehouse, pretty much all new with no/damaged boxes.
It looks like the same thing happened here, especially with some people receiving their Powerbeats boxes covered in dust (including mine). I'm pretty sure you could just check the SN on the Apple website of in doubt.
Edit: Checked my SN and it checks out. (edited)
Maybe they could drop products more useful or with better reviews ;-)
There are positive reviews there too!
The reviews I added from Amazon are mixed (I try to be honest, without bias and give a good indication of what's out there), even contradictory: someone on Amazon states they're better than AirPods, another says they aren't (which I highlighted).
Soundguys DO rate their Sound Quality, Techradar don't!
Build Quality is maybe where they get the most negative feedback.
I suppose it's a "suck it and see" situation! I agree that they are being judged through the price filter / price at RRP, for £80 they're decent, I'd say.
The fact they're from Amazon Warehouse muddies the waters somewhat, but nobody can say for sure what you'll receive till they arrive. (edited)
Yes, you should be covered for a year with Warehouse. Haven't tried to follow up a faulty item from Warehouse for some months, though.
We'll have to agree to disagree, it would be dishonest of me to put only positive reviews out there. (I read more reviews than those I select - I chose those that gave the best overall opinions). (edited)
I was hoping this price was going to meant they would be cheaper brand new but unfortunately not.
Where did they all come from I wonder and why only black ones?
Who knows but given the mass qty I've took a punt on a like new pair in the hope they are actually new.
If not it's a simple return but I'm hoping with how many they have it's something simple like someone's accidentally cut through the sellophane etc
Still plenty available from what I can see
Thank you, taken the plunge and ordered!
Still 112 left in total…
sorry didnt see bottom right side option.. thanks for that.
I tried adding a thread from a well-known headphone forum that had some interesting chatter, turns out they're banned
amazon.co.uk/gp/…ALL
I've had "reasonably" good luck with headphones from Warehouse - on-ear headphones seem to be fine, in-ear headphones are more of a mixed bag.
I did infamously (at least, infamous to me) post pictures on HUKD a few years ago, of PowerBeats2 (I think that was the model), Like New, that were legitimately disgusting - only the box looked good. Someone must have complained as my pictures got removed (which is fair enough). (edited)
To me this suggests a pallet has been dropped or damaged so they can't sell them as new. The items themselves would be perfectly protected by the packaging as that's what it's there for. It's more cost effective to sell them cheaper as manufacturers won't accept returns like this or bother repackaging them as it's Amazon's fault that the pallet got damaged in the first place. I heard that Amazon had to crush a whole pallet of Macbooks cause Apple wouldn't accept the return as the boxes were damaged by Amazon and basically said "It's your fault you sort it" but wouldn't let them sell them as warehouse stock. (edited)
I've made about 8 "like new" purchases from Amazon. The typical definition is literally brand new unused and no signs of use whatsoever but box has been opened to inspect contents (and likely returned).
Used very good ive bought a few of too, and from my experience these mean used once, pretty much mint condition wth all existing packaging
Ordered, thanks. (edited)
Generally the grade should be as described but there will be disappointments at times (as I say, in-ear headphones have generally been more troublesome a purchase for me, than on-ears).
At least if you do get let down you can try again, as there's so many in stock and Amazon's returns/CS are great. (edited)
I can see that but average rating is 4.5 stars on Amazon so a fair selection would be showing many more positive than negative reviews. My point is that for what they are (sports earphones) there is nothing better. I think also that problems with build quality go with the territory - they are used for sport so get sweaty, might get bashed etc. so they will not last as long as a pair that you just wear sitting on the sofa!
Legally though Amazon have to accept returns for at least 6 months and in my experience on Warehouse items they usually accept returns up to the full year (for a refund) if you moan a bit. (edited)
If again this is the same situation as the dualsense one (very likely), then even the very good ones will be new with just damaged or no packaging. Almost definitely a damaged palet issue, which is why hundreds of them suddenly appeared overnight.
