Cheapest I've seen. AMD cards age better than NVidia so will be a good one for the future. Used Powercolor a number of times, their cards are good. At the same price as a GTX 1060 i'd go for this. Scan a very good retailer too.

This isn't a 1976 chateauneuf du pape

I very nearly pulled the trigger on this earlier today as I really want an AMD rather than NVidia due to Linux reasons, but having a read through a review, it appears this draws a lot more power than an equivalent Nvidia (and a lot more than the 480 as well), so have given it a miss, however it is a really good price.

Just as well. The '76 was terrible

I can't find any real explanation of the expected running cost difference (in electricity) between the 1060 and the 580 but the latter seems to draw around 100watts more for gaming. I'd imagine over time that must add up, especially if you keep these cards for their lifetime.

Excellent Price HOT

Its shows up as £239.99 for me

OP: "AMD cards age better than NVidia so will be a good one for the future."

Apart from when they don't.

Seriously, there's no hard and fast rule that GPUs from company X will age better than GPUs from company Y. As evidenced by Nvidia's GTX 780Ti ageing horribly vs AMD's R9 290X and then one generation later, AMD's Fury X ageing horribly vs Nvidia's GTX 980Ti.

That aside, this is a good price for an 8GB RX 580, heat added.

Still waiting for a decent aftermarket vega 64 powercolor have the red devil one coming soon but £590 is a stretch. Wouldn't buy this as my 4 year old 290x is still faster than this

I still can't find any reason to upgrade my HD7970 or 280x.
