Not a fan of reference design blower cards, hot and loud but hopefully see savings on the Red Dragon or Pulse versions.

Mine works just fine with XT bios and undervolted, doesn't exceed 80C in Meshifg C case. Usually atound 73-77C but I set the click to 1925mhz and undervolted. OFC it'd be better to add fes ££ and get the pulse for example, where you have dual bios and looks better imho.
Freaking awesome card. Not too loud.
Will be cheaper black Friday?
Much better cooler for a few quid more

Mech OC is poor. Had the XT version. It was loud and hot. It died after 3 hours. Clearly a dud, but Reviews are not good either. Save up for Pulse or Red Dragon deal.

What's the noise like?
The ref cooler actually works well with the rx5700, excellent reviews. This card is a great buy!

Dont listen to this... its loud and hot. Always avoid ref coolers unless you like your head battered. Even at idle you can still hear these things.

Funny. My Vega 56s are still running reference blowers and still fine, 2 years on. And no-one should let cards get clogged up with dust, doesn’t matter what type of blower or cooler you have, dust will always affect it. The MSI Mech OC doesn’t get good reviews.

Not sure what your point is, no-one can be that obtuse or obnoxious surely? Please show me where I said 'there is no dust in my Vega 56s'? I said they are running fine after 2 years - probably because I look after my hardware and keep the dust and air filters clean. Dust affects everything so how is the MSI immune but the PowerColor isn't? Oh right.

Right, I suppose the RX5700 got 4.5 star reviews from pretty much every outlet?
The cooler is inaudible at idle,

27dBA idle, that's less than a 2060, 1070 or 1060. But I imagine those are also audible at idle, right?

Sigh.
