Powerforce Jigsaw

For Less than £4 a bargin even if you only get a few uses out of it its worth it at the end of the day.

I bought one of these a few months back.

It is worse than useless. :x

dont waste your time energy and money, ive used a budget power saw previously its doesnt produce fine lines and makes it really difficult to saw no to mention all the sawdust that flies up your nose! B&Q sell a really good range of saw's cant recall the brand but B&Q sell them for £12 each whilst costco sell them at 2 for £11 and they are the best saws ive ever used like slicing thru cheese.

link to B&Q saw is diy.com/diy…cts

Its actually £9.98 but you get two from Costco for £11

Sorry for confusion I was referring to hand saw and not electric but believe me they use less effort and create less mess and you have at least 4 or 5 different blade options to chose from

Just another thumbs up for the Hand Saws from Costco, they are Spear and Jackson Predator X's and they are absolutely top notch. Best Hand saw's I have ever used.

BUT!!!

Take it from me, if you buy one of these make NO MISTAKE about it. They will make a mess of any digits/body parts that get in the way.
I know that sounds obvious but it is easy to get careless and not think for a minute and you will regret it for the next 2-3 months.

THEY ARE VERY SHARP. BE WARNED!!!

Even if you are doing one off jobs, whats the point when you cant do the job properly because of **** tools! I say do it once do it right. Cheap tools are not economical in the long run, I slung all my old stuff out as it was just no point in having them. Now I can do a good job, and the tools have set me up to get into the trade.

And any tool with a "power", "ultimate" or "max" before it should be avoided lol

bravo bravo

other day my uncle was helping me out whilst putting some shelfs up in the garage, he opted to cut some 2x1's for me and his comments were straight after it, "you know having the right tools for the job makes life so much easier"

it so true you can end up spending more on cheap kak when you only have to buy something decent once and it lasts for a long time, im after an 18V cordless drill now and also small 9/10 v for lightweight around the home use. The best 18V deal I have come accross is a Ryobi with 2 batteries and 100 pcs for £50 in a local B&Q surplus store, they were £80 in the xmas sales but now down to £50, its a half decent drill and im now very tempted. But I do prefer the bosch drills and Ive also heard about the Makita'a power, so still umming and R-ing at the moment

If you need a good jigsaw keep an eye on Aldi deals they sell a brilliant jigsaw for £14 they get them about every 6 months there battery drills are also excellent as are most of there tools.
