cant recommend these. Have the orange one and it sucks. Keep having to open it up because the connection comes loose. Looks flimsy as well.

Good price though

And this year's outright winner in the "ugliest disk enclosure ever" goes to.....Powerfreakz Ripple.

What about power supply?

agree with gapster, got one of these 2 years ago to house my old ps3 drive, never did get it working... and yes tried it with another drive too, these are just not even worth the £2.99... have now got a hard drive dock instead and all my drives work fine with that.... only around £13 delivered from ebuyer at the moment for a similar one too.

It's powered via USB

got a black and green, both been working fine for the past 3 months....

Damnit!! I was about to post this deal lol

I'll add heat when I can figure out how :). I may just purchase one to see if the girlfriends drive is dead or not

Will give it a try.
Thanks

Great deal, Thanks

Um usb can only power so much. Some times you need an external power supply, hence why I ask.

Not seen any 2.5" drive enclosures that need external power - only the larger 3.5" ones usually require external power source.

You can get these and other kinds like it on ebay for the same money.

I have a black one of these and had no problems whatsoever. Bargain!

None left in stock.

dont waste you're money, these are crap

Just got myself one of these, in a less ghastly grey for £3.49 on the 'Bay

bought one of these in green for my old ps3 hdd and been using with no probs for the last 2months.
