I have been looking for a pressure washer which doesn't get tangled with the extension cord. This one has a long integrated wash hoze, it hopefully won't tip over either.

For those who are after something powerful may be worth a look.

Good price for an excellent quality pressure washer.
I'm looking for even more power than this model. Can anyone advise whether the Karcher K7 Premium home for about £450 or the Nilfisk Premium 180 Home for £399 here ... cleanstore.co.uk/pro…627
is the better buy in terms of value, build quality, potential reliability and longevity?
Thanks.
Looks good, 9m hose too... Longer is better

Looking for similar and I know that the car detailer guys really recommend Kranzle washers. Don't know enough to advise I'm afraid
Appreciate that, cheers. Yeah, the Kranzle machines seem to feature highly with the car detailing crowd. Their comparable powered machines are a bit over my budget though.

I get the impression that it isn't just the base psi figure you need to look at, the difference between 8l per min and 10 is supposed to be a game changer
I'm just looking at the Costco website and they are advertising a Nilfisk Premium 180-10 Power X-Tra Pressure Washer... costco.co.uk/Garden-Sheds-Patio/Garden-Power-Tools/Pressure-Washers/Nilkfisk-Premium-180-10-Power-X-Tra-Pressure-Washer/p/316289

... which looks like exactly the same thing as the Premium 180 Cleanstore offering, however, the blurb states ..."The 2,900-watt induction motor with a metal pump produces a maximum pressure of 180 bar and an operating pressure of 140 bar, more than enough for any domestic cleaning job"!

I'm considering the purchase on account of the quoted (and implied) 180 bar of pressure. If it's actually only operating at 140 bar, then I might as well get the Karcher K7 with its actual extra power!

Just looking at the Nilfisk P150 blurb at Costco and it is also saying ..."The 2900W brushless motor with a brass pump produces a maximum pressure of 150 bar and an operating pressure of 140 bar"!

It doesn't seem right that they can quote higher pressure figures when the actual operating pressure is lower!

I know at the lower price points people rave much more about the nilfisk than the karcher, I think in your price bracket though that isn't necessarily the case. Can't help on the rated psi bit in afraid

I probably know less than you about these machines, so I'll probably need to do a bit more research. I'm feeling a little more love for the Karcher K7 now, particularly as it offers a 5 year warranty as opposed to Nilfisks 2 year warranty.

Cheers.
I really dislike the way nilfisk market their pressure washers with the maximum pressure value when it’s the operating pressure value that counts.

Been doing this forever and caught me out a few years ago.
Bought what I thought was 110 bar but turned out to be 85 in reality. As I was replacing a 110 bar Bosch pressure washer, the nilfisk was like a children’s toy. Not impressed and never purchased nilfisk again.

As far as I know the other major manufacturers don’t play this game.

Nilfisk always better than Karcher. Most of Karcher has plastic motors. All Nilfisk are Aluminium. The house on this one is the reinforced, anti-trust, anti kink.
It's a great machine.

I am sorry but this is wrong.

I can list one Karcher as plastic, the K2, how many more can you quote as plastic when you say most.
Also, the Nilfisk p150 has a brass head as do some Karchers higher up the range, not just aluminium.

Karcher's also have a 3 year guarantee on better models, Nilfisk 2.

@Alphaman1, check out the P150, Amazon had it for £199 in the past I think but they are costly just now. Bullet proof machines.

Appreciate that, cheers. I'd pay £200 for the P150 though. I'll keep my eyes open for a bargain.

Agreed. Just seeing the product comparison on Amazon. The whole range shows lower working pump pressures than "max" pump pressures. Why even quote the max pump pressure if you dont get to use it?

I hadn't quite comprehended the weight of these things. 18Kg for this one, 27kg for the model up from this!

Yeah, I think that's the difference in the metal fittings used. I think that the P150 uses more professional quality components, like a brass pump and the like. That's a massive weight difference from the C125 and C135... must be going from a plastic motor to a metal one maybe?
Thanks for this thread - just ordered one for my husbands bday

I prefer Nilfisk to Karcher but haven't used either pressure washer, got a Nilfisk Combi from cleanstore to replace my FC5 that went back to Karcher faulty & its much better IMO

What you using it for cleaning the moon?

I bought one for £90 and it can strip paint off cars.

Plenty of power for cleaning monoblock and it's lasted 4 years so far

I got an email from them today saying the Premium 180 is now 'only £372.99' - not too sure why as I already bought the E145!
