The Mini Boost jump starter battery pack is a real life saver. Make sure you and your loved ones can get home when stranded. Jump starting a car is commonly done by connecting your car's flat battery to another fully charged battery with jump cables. So what do you do if there is nobody else around ? Simply connect the battery pack to your car battery with the jump cables, and you can now start your car.

Multifunctional Powerbank Booster
With the Powerseed mini booster you can Jump Start cars, vans and even jump start boats. But the mini powerbank is not limited to only quick jump vehicles or boats, you can use the powerbank to charge your phone, tablet, cameras or any other gadgets that require charging.

Ultra Compact Car Mini Boost
Unlike traditional bulky car jump starter packs, the Powerseed is small enough to store in your glove box and light enough to pack in your bag.

Car Jump Starter Quick Guide:
1. To ensure a successful jump, clean both battery terminals with a wire brush;
2. Connect the Black clamp to the vehicle negative (-) battery terminal and connect the Red clamp to the vehicle positive (+) battery terminal;
3. Connect the jump starter cables to the Powerseed Car Jump Starter unit, turn on the unit (the 3 lights must be lit in order to use the powerbank jump starter);
4. Start the vehicle;
5. Disconnect the jump starter cables from the Powerseed mini booster;
6. Remove clamps from the vehicle's battery.

Product features:
- Powerseed Jump Starter is a Real Life Saver- helping you and your loved ones get home if your car loses battery power;
- 6000mah high capacity lithium battery;

These are a godsend. Always worth having one in the car, you never know when you might need it. Also useful to help others out too without messing around.
These are absolutely brilliant!! Even though it's small and it shouldn't have, it started my dead 2.2 Honda Civic straight away great bit of kit.

Sorry I'm not a mechanic, but sounds like you need a new battery as it's not holding charge.

This exact model, turned it over on the first try.
I wish I would have known about this device at the beginning of the pandemic, when it took a month to find a new battery for my car and my neighbour rescued me 3 times in a month. Seems like a decent product and the price is good too, so hot from me.
Will this do a 20 plate 2ltr diesel & 1.5ltr diesel Quaski ? Thanks

You’d be surprised what you can start with these. I’ve cranked a 3.8 V6 which had so little power it couldn’t even open the door locks. These are such impressive bits of kit and so much easier than faffing with jump leads - and, of course, make good power banks for the rest of their time.
These packs are usually terrific for what they're designed to do. We have a DBPower and SUAOKI branded packs, both work flawlessly though interestingly prices appear to have risen sharply over the years.
The product title on the Mymemory page is incorrect, this delivers 300A to the car. The 2A refers to the USB voltage. Would not have much luck trying to turn a starter motor with a 2A current!!!

Same, actual godsend. I have Suzuki Alto 1.0l I dont know if its because of its size but 30 mins of forgetting to turn off headlights, the car is dead on its legs. This little baby (not this particurlar model but same thing) has saved me around 5-6 times now in past 3 years. Invaluable and incredible that it starts the car up in under a 15 secs.

This just jump starts it, the car when running should charge the battery.

They dont sell mine anymore. This has good reviews with 15% off voucher at the minute. Better than this junk for a tenner more! Theres some at 1500a (peak) but double the price so I'd probably just get a new battery. If that's your defender surely you'll have a dual battery set up
Edited by: "gazdoubleu" 12th Sep
Got a similar one a couple of years ago and it is a revelation. It even jump started a 2.5l diesel camper van.
One word of caution - only one side of the crocodile jaws will be 'live' which isn't a problem if attaching to a battery terminal however some cars have jump point tags in the fuse box which may be copper on one side and plastic on the other so always ensure the jaws are clamped with the live jaw on the copper tag. The live side is the one with the lead on it. I couldn't work out how the jump battery only l worked 50% of the time!

These are great for petrol cars but hit and miss on diesels engines..

This might be a stupid question, but are these safe to leave in the car when it's really hot weather (no chance of exploding?)
Thank you

I have a DBPower one and I’ve left that in my boot throughout the summer. I do leave it in the box and there’s no scope for direct sunlight so as long as it’s not left exposed to direct sunlight should be fine.
Was going to order until I saw this Yaber YR600. 1000A / 13800mAh. Well worth the extra £11 (£39.09 delivered after 15% voucher applied)41903351-UM5s7.jpg

Have been told twice by RAC not to jump start new cars any more as it messes up the computer. I had no end of issues later on with electronic parking brake not releasing, alarm going off and unable to switch off etc
Edited by: "tooheys30" 13th Sep
Do these state limits?

You can find better and cheaper if this one is limited to number of times used.

From what I have read before, the smaller type like these will have use limits, which is fine in emergencies, but I preferred using the ones which has a battery in it and also can be kept charged while driving and having it plugged in.

Think you mean "bump starting" shouldn't be done, "jump starting" just adds extra ampage to the 12v in the vehicle already, you can only really do any damage if the original car battery isn't a 12v, some have 24v.
Bought one years ago, absolutel rubbish..! It didn't hold its charge either...
Invaluable to have in your car. I have an Arteck 8000mAh version. Started my car in seconds when needed. Arteck
