Back down again, £1 more than last time, I don't think that's a deal breaker though. Use code CAN60 at checkout. Decent specs, best price by a good margin and they aren't with the extras included either.

Or a Pana TZ. Sony HX80/90V Good as well.
This might sound as though I’m going off at a bit of a tangent ... but please bear with me ... I bought a GoPro Hero 5 Black thinking that it would be fine for taking the odd video with but mainly to take photographs with - I realise now that it doesn’t really suit my needs.

What I do like about it is that it connects to my ‘phone so I can save and send pictures .... I like that it is waterproof (although I have added a waterproof case) but what I can’t really get on with is the size - it’s just too small. Does anyone else have these issues ?

Back on track ... is this Canon camera the answer ? How robust is it ? How easy does the Wi-Fi connect to an iPhone to send and save pictures? Does it have GPS so that your pictures are geo-tagged with the location? What’s the battery life like?

Any suggestions for the ideal camera with all of those features would be appreciated.

Thanks ....

It all depends on your needs. I’ve got the A6000 and love it. Although to get an equivalent level of zoom will cost a couple of 100£ more. The A6000 is a much batter semi pro/pro camera and takes lovely videos as well as fantastic photos with what was the worlds fastest autofocus system able to take and refocus 11 shots per second. Compared to the 5.9 of the canon it’s no comparison. Just down to how you plan to use the camera and what you expect to achieve out of it. Hope this helps

Have you looked at Panasonic LUMIX TZ range? I bought the Mrs the TZ30, which has a 24x Zoom and takes some stella photos (just don’t put the ISO up to high) has built in GPS tagging of the photos (this can lead to quicker battery drain if the camera is left on standbye instead of turned off) the video quality is great too shooting at 1080p 60fps. You can also buy a waterproof housing for them off eBay for a reasonable price to use underwater or just make it more rugged
