Yes, its a battery which can be charged from a solar panel, mains electricity or USB. The powertraveller website says:

Doesn't mention portable dvd player, so perhaps it won't charge that.
Glad you're liking the pinkness

Well it sounds perfect for holiday. Im sure the blazing hot egyptian sun rays wil keep it charged. And the fact that it fits all my gadgets is perfect..... Thanks so much going to order

I have one of these and yes it's also in Pink!. Got it from an ebay sellet a short while back.
As a portable power source for your mobile they're very handy but don't expect them to power much more powerful devices because they just arent up to the job.
Also I've noticed that the solar charger takes an age to give the battery (i.e. up to 2 days of good sun) a full charge and even then it's not 100% full its about 90%.
If you charge it via the mains then it gets 100% charge in about 3 hours approx.
My advice if looking to power Archos media players or mini notebooks etc is to get your mitts on something such as the Philips philips.co.uk/c/p…rd/
Orange shop did these (as detailed on HUKD) for about £25 not so long ago.

I had to get a separate tip for my nintendo DS from their website.
Also got a palm tip for my treo 680 and palm TX.

They are good but you need to make sure you factor in the cost of separate tips
