It's Practika - anything Practika is awful kit.

However, its a quid, so who cares if its any good - if I see it I'll take the risk.

1080p.

HDMI inputs? Video playback? Personally I prefer plasma to LCD.

I love technology and gadgets and all that, but some things are just utterly pointless.

Why would anyone need this? Normal size digital photo frames are cool, but a tiny keyring one? How long does anyone look at a keyring for?

Cold I'm afraid. Pointless tat that I wouldn't even bother with if it were free.

colour screen?

colour screen?

If it's the same one I bought then it should be.

Nothing thrilling, but okay if you want to put a few pictures on something portable. Not that you can make much out, this isn't for group shots but a single person is recognisable.

Novelty value only.

Good for homesick kids, when away on residentials, sleepovers etc. Put some pics of the family and pets etc. on it. Sure it's pants quality, but it's a quid!

1080p.

This is not 1080p, thats more like the def on HD TVs. Where did you get your info from?:whistling:

I have one and it is 1080p, the trouble is the screen is so tiny you cannot properly distinguish each pixel and therefore cannot see the true resolution.

Hey , my first camera was a Practika .. bombproof East German kit.

Mine too - Practika MTL-3

Mine too, as well. BC1

Sadly the brand is just used for rebadged stuff these days (presumably the supply of tank-grade components dried up when the wall came down:roll:)

It's a quid for gawds sake!

HOT

I have some 1080p movies that won't play on my PC - I have zipped them to floppy disc, will I be able to load them onto this? Is it 7.1 or 5.1?

it produces High Definition quality pictures:p. I am only joking. I got one of those before. They are terrible.

You can hardly see what the picture is. Not worth even if it is 50p.

I got mine from North Cheam branch and i think it should be a nationwide deal as they were never a popular product so most stores should have quite a few. The rest of the staff bought these in my store so i was lucky to get my hands on one after i finished!
