Pure ignorance. For a start it's Shea Butter and Coconut oil, long respected for skin use. As for the "lump of mold" comment, an opinion based on ignorance is worth less than nothing.

I have normal but extremely sensitive skin that is prone to a specific rash reaction. I've been washing my face for the last 3 years with a combination of two rather expensive La Roche Posay products, I couldn't use anything else otherwise anything else would only magnitude my problem. So far so good so I couldn't be happier with the results after using this soap to wash my face, feels soft, well hydrated + clean pores extraordinarily well.
We will see the long term. The scent is neutral if someone is interested in that aspect.

If we have any Ghanaian HUKD'ers looking at this post, is this soap genuinely well known in Ghana - or is it just marketng bolleaoux?

Thanks

It's actually true. Black soap as it's called in West Africa has been used for hundreds of years and made from plantain skin, palm oil, ash and a host of other things depending on whatever variation you might want to add like honey, lemon, shea butter. My grand mum used to make the stuff when she needed a soap especially after the kids had chicken pox as it helped with scarring.
Good spot! I've never seen the real stuff online and I run out of the stuff I bought from Ghana last year a month ago so I'll get a few to keep me going.

fair enough, i thought palm oil was something everyone was jumping on fairly recently because it's cheaper.

It's the real stuff alright and looks just like the stuff you can get from the local markets in Accra or other West African towns.

Four items takes it to £21 something. It also doesn't allow me to apply the code for 4 but it does for 5.
