1st place I've seen that has listed it.

Intrigued by the price though as haven't Acer mentioned that prices will start at £299 for the 3cell version so not sure on the RRP of £329?

AcerDirect / Laptop Direct have it for pretty much the same price and same RRP listed, but without the quidco, free delivery or payment options. At present, no-where else is taking preorders as yet.

This isn't the one that'll take the sim card is it?

This isn't the one that'll take the sim card is it?Chris

Acer state that this is a "manufacturing option" along with Bluetooth, so I guess you'll have to wait until they're in stock before anyone can comfirm this.

Imho, it would be foolish NOT to include wireless broadband and bluetooth on a 2nd gen netbook. But then I don;t run Acer.

EDIT: The red one looks deeply sexy.

Indeed especially as they list 3g models for the 8.9in A150 model now even if they are an eye watering £379 for the WinXP, 1GB, 160HDD version part number LU.S400B.045 the same spec without 3g is approx £100 cheaper

voted hot:thumbsup:

Whats better this or the NC10?

Not sure really

NC10 has 6cell battery whereas this one is 3cell (6 cell version is available though)
D150 uses a 1.6ghz N280 Atom compared to 1.33Ghz N270 in the NC10 so in theort this may be a tad quicker.
NC10 has 1.3mp webcam vs 0.3mp in the D150

So really depends what you are looking for I guess?

this is much better, as it has the N280 revision of the atom processor, which is a little bit faster at 1.66ghz instead of 1.6ghz (667MHz fsb instead of 533MHz), but should also be accompanied by the much much better GN40 chipset, which is designed for netbooks (unlike the current gen netbooks with the 945 desktop chipset hacked up for a netbook), so you should see better battery life and it should make HD video a breeze...

great thanks guys for details

1 more thing does this have bluetooth?

at this price it is a notbook rather than a netbook, not voted as this could be the best price for it if you want one.

Hi guys just checked this netbook out and it doesn't have the GN40 chipset only the N280 CPU.
