This.
This, but wait a few weeks for it to drop below £300.

I prefer the battery, screen-size and the processor low power use/performance ratio on the 7 and it is newer meaning more security updates to come.
Guarantee this will be less than 349 in a couple months.

Yeah that's my thoughts, was wondering if the 835 would give any real benefits. Good to know!
This smartphone looks very promising. Initial reviews online are very positive, the only minus being its not water resistant. That said it does look like a great mid range smartphone

This looks like it could be the Nokia that a lot of people who use to love Nokia's have been waiting for!

Cool (ish!) review, of lots of rubbing and caressing of said phone and a lot of info here

Nice knife in that video. Must say, it's a little robotic for me, bicentennial man much?!
I have a 640xl and use it for 20 mins of calls the odd bit of internet.
It lasts 8/10 days between charges.
I wonder how good the 7 plus will be.
Been looking at the nokia 8 Dual sim deal @£260.00 for copper and £250.00 for blue posted earlier this week.
Cant decide.
For me it's the ridiculous price for phones these days. I'm planning on getting one of these or an alternative cheap, good phone (Honor view 10 for instance) and getting a decent 30 day SIM. Good bye contracts!

Going from Windows mobile to Android (having gone back and forth myself between the two on many occasions), you aren't going to be happy with the battery life on these Android Nokia phones.

My personal view: just because it's got Nokia stamped on it doesn't make it a good phone these days when there is so much competition.

Isn't this the first new Nokia with a 6 series Snapdragon? The 6 series have renowned battery life.

Conversely, I prefer the screen size of the 8 to the 7! I suspect you might want to actually try both out before making a decision. I have the 8 and am very happy with the battery life. I believe HMD have said it will be updated to Android 9 but I don't know beyond that.
For me the main benefit of this over the 8 is the telephoto secondary rear lens instead of the monochrome, if the camera is fairly good. That said the reviews of the 8 cameras haven't been great. Although the the pixel app is supposed to help, not sure if it will be able to control the telephoto.

If you want gaming performance then the 8 is the one to go for.

Yeah, but Windows Phone vs Android? Battery life on the old WP handsets was excellent (probably because they didn't have dozens of apps all vying for memory/data) when compared to Android.

I think you are probably right, but my wife's Lumia 800 was quite poor. But I think the 900 series had much better.

The new nokia 6 (they call it nokia 6 2018 or nokia 6.1) does have a 625 I believe or some other 600 series. It is being released sometime in April too. Basically nokia 6.1 and 7 will have the 600 series being the 7 slightly faster.
