Waiting for the other models too

Same, I'm hoping they will bring out a 27" or 32" 1440p 144hz ips option
Wait, is this actually an IPS panel?!!!!!!

I've been searching for a 1080p monitor 23/24inch in IPS for years and this may be the first...... They just don't exist

Edit: with 144hz I mean. I've been waiting for so long

....there have been hundreds of 23-24" 1080p IPS monitors over the last decade. Dell alone have had 10+

Where have you been looking?!

That makes a lot more sense!

Up until this year no-one was mass manufacturing 1920x1080p 144hz IPS panels in any sizes. The closest were LG's ultrawide 2560x1080p 144hz IPS.
Shame they had to cheap out with 6bits + FRC.
is it true that VA panels have better contrast ration than IPS panels

Yes, however for gaming the smear from poor pixel response times are no fun. Modern VA screens have also got worse year on year for colour shift and viewing angles.
Interesting... I'd be switching from an Samsung C24FG73 which is the same apart from it is a VA. IPS can have bad back lighting bleed.
It is 1MS MPRT as well rather than GtG. Super.

I have the same one, any reason for switching?
I'll pass. I'd like a 4k with these specs so £600 - £1000 if I recall :/ not sure there is one at 1ms.

In all fairness no. If you've calibrated it correct the samsung is super. I use this site lagom.nl/lcd…st/ and all I needed to do was reduce the gamma in nvidia control from 100 to 85.
Could be a totally silly question..... I take it I can not use free sync on this monitor since I have an intel processor? Again apologies for the stupid question.

Heya. Free sync is made for AMD cards. If you have an nvidia card it is now possible to use free sync with some monitors. Doesnt matter if you have an AMD or Intel processor unless you're using them as an graphics card as well, which is when you plug your monitor into your motherboard.

Where do you guys read to know of these new products? I'm sure some site talked about these new upcoming models that's how some of you are already aware

Ah got it thanks, I do use an nvidia card does anyone know if this monitor will allow me to use free sync with my nvidia card? It’s a 1060 6gb one
Not sure whether to bite on this and return the c24g1 VA panel that I just got for the same price hmm..
Erm no vesa mount on this

Most likely but it might have issues like flickering and brightness shifts

Thanks for the reply, could I turn the free sync off on the monitor and if so will I still be able to archive 144hz? And what’s the downfall for turning this off?

I can't be certain here as one way or another I've had to deal with frame skipping. Normally I disable driver side and leave on with the monitor.

Vesa 100x100 says on the website
Reading comments here and watching this video , probably slightly overpriced and not convinced it a good deal

That's not calibration, also adjusting gamma in nVidia is inaccurate and will skew the curve.
