Description
Crucial RDIMM ECC - 32GB (RAM for the server)

Maximising a server’s installed memory capacity with Crucial RDIMMs is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to make your deployments faster and more efficient. Crucial RDIMMs contain a register chip, which directs data commands and helps control the flow of data within the server. By virtue of the register chip, Crucial RDIMMs have ECC parity, which helps prevent data errors and increases overall system reliability.

Features
  • Data processing at a speed of up to 2933 MT / s
  • Modules and components 100% tested according to critical server standards
  • Optimized for the latest Intel Xeon processor product families
  • Compatible with servers and OEM warranties
  • With the backing of the Reliance Program

Full Specs on Crucial Website.

Hope it helps someone.

P.S. In the off-chance of the order not being fulfilled and the currency fluctuating you risk losing a small % of the money you paid in GBP, so please take that into consideration when ordering. Happy @Biddy2 and @eslick

Who knows - given the wait time, there is nothing to lose, right? Amazon charges money on shipment anyways.

ECC ram, can this be used in b450 Ryzen chipset?
Ordered 😁
If only I had a pc that used ddr4, I'm still stuck on ddr3
Just bought in spanish, hope it's all okay. xD

No in all cases any longer. Varies by country, and category.

For example you may be charged upfront or within a few days when pre-ordering games across Europe, including here, now.

People were charged upfront for the TV earlier, also on Amazon Spain.

Ultimately, if you wanted the item anyway it shouldn't make a difference to you if the money is gone for a day or two because if it was fulfilled you would be without it forever!

Not correct, Amazon take payment on order lately.

Ah ok wasn't aware that people got charged for the TV without it being shipped. I have had multiple orders with Amazon across the globe and only ever been charged when they ship, maybe I was just lucky. Didn't have the space for another TV so didn't even bother with the TV deal, sorry @reindeer333

In my view, the bottomline is you can't be charged for something they don't ship - so even if they do charge you upfront and don't fulfill, you will get the money back. So you still don't really lose anything in my view.
Pointless but ordered
Thanks bought 1000 for ebay, all sold now, I'm a millionaire, cheers OP
Got excited till I saw ECC. Bums.
It is all change regarding when they take payment - Used to be prior to dispatch on our same associated debit card. Now taken within 5-10mins - Even if there's a two month lead time. I appreciate it's pending & not actually taken - but funds aren't available for that period. Another annoying tweak from Amazon.

Worth a try - but yes Amazon have been much more careful with honouring at such prices lately.
Registered so no good really for anything but servers

As said above they are charging before shipping and between getting charged and refund any currency fluctuation could mean you are out of pocket, not by much on this price but obviously it depends. Someone has asked in the rules thread about making this clear in these sorts of threads as on big money items it could work out a bit more than pennies. You could of course benefit as well but we all know it never works out like that.

But you could also, GAIN money right ;).
Yeah nobody is going to get this. If its next day delivery, you've got a chance but 1 to 2 months, no way.

Yeah that happens loads of times at the minute but yep you are right.

I get your point, but at the same time its hard to comment either which ways in my view, coz to me it feels we are almost working on the assumption here that the order won't be fulfilled, if so, then whats the point of even making a deal post.

The intent is to put the best price out there and then its up to people to decide whether they want to buy or not, isn't it? Surely folks buying from non UK websites would know that their transactions are subject to amounts being slightly different due to currency fluctuations.

Thats also true, especially with the way the pound is fluctuating on the currency market right now.

Yeah but deep down you know this is not going to get fulfilled, don’t you if you say no then we don’t believe you
Amazon are on fire with the misprices!

They actually charge your card on the 5th day after ordering now if an item isn’t in stock like this one. (So on the 7th day, it’ll be visible as a charge on your account) If this isn’t cancelled quick by Amazon before that 5th day, your refund could be subject to currency fluctuations, meaning you might not get back what you paid or you could get extra. (The £ is especially volatile at the moment)

It’s a risk that this site should be warning people about now really.

Dude. What is the “happy @Biddy2 and @eslick ” thing about? We’re just trying to make people aware of the risks involved here because the site staff aren’t.
