Description
Crucial RDIMM ECC - 32GB (RAM for the server)

Maximising a server’s installed memory capacity with Crucial RDIMMs is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to make your deployments faster and more efficient. Crucial RDIMMs contain a register chip, which directs data commands and helps control the flow of data within the server. By virtue of the register chip, Crucial RDIMMs have ECC parity, which helps prevent data errors and increases overall system reliability.

Features
  • Data processing at a speed of up to 2933 MT / s
  • Modules and components 100% tested according to critical server standards
  • Optimized for the latest Intel Xeon processor product families
  • Compatible with servers and OEM warranties
  • With the backing of the Reliance Program

Full Specs on Crucial Website.

Hope it helps someone.

P.S. In the off-chance of the order not being fulfilled and the currency fluctuating you risk losing a small % of the money you paid in GBP, so please take that into consideration when ordering. Happy @Biddy2 and @eslick

It's the 'Registered' part that's really the problem. Many motherboards can use Unregistered ECC running in non-ECC mode - e.g. my motherboard 'Supports ECC UDIMM memory (non-ECC mode)' - but this isn't UDIMM, it's RDIMM.

Yeh I posted one really good deal years back, then I just had people comment... "why do I need this" and then they voted cold... so never again!
Will these work in the UK?

£147.80 on Uk site with 8 reviews in 2.5 years suggests its not exactly flying off the shelves.
So price may be correct.
Am I allowed to buy this if I voted brexit?

I mean to be fair, this is a rather niche product. This kind of RAM isn't supported by general consumer motherboards. So I can't imagine it'd be a hot seller for that reason alone.

Plenty of ryzen boards support ECC. I know for a fact my Asrock x570 does.

They may not support registered ECC modules like these are though.. My x570 Aorus Pro for example only supported UDIMMs (ie un-buffered/un-registered).

Careful - not just ECC (which works on a lot of workstations and unofficially with a lot of boards and CPU that are not supposed to), but REGISTERED (aka buffered) which requires mobo support.

Gota couple of i7 5960x and an X99 and a C612 motherboard, I can't find for sure it won't work and there's a chance, so I'm giving it a punt

Even Threadripper doesn't support rdimms. Only Epyc does.
On the Intel side, you'll only find rdimm support on Xeon powered server boards.
ECC - cold
Server ram for servers .. sorry no cervezas for you
Ordered 8 of these at €44.86 each and they charged €3.41 for shipping. £332.05 total cost with fee free card. Money already taken. Let's see what happens. Can use them on my server if they actually honour the deal. Thanks OP.

Have none of you also noticed that most motherboards do not support 32gb sticks of ram so those who have bought to use will come unstuck. I know the new higher end X570 boards support dimms of this size but most don't. As for server use my last server and my current one were only supposed to accept ECC memory but ran fine on normal sticks so at this price it's worth the risk because worst case you can flog them on for way more than you paid although I suspect they will be cancelled anyway.

If only I had a pc that used ddr4, I'm still stuck on ddr3

Usually support unbuffered i.e. non-registered ECC. This post is for REGISTERED ECC.
if its s misprice why has it been up for hours and still available?
Bought 10 to resell on eBay 😁😁😋

Yeah, it's specifically for people who buy it despite everyone who knows anything about it whatsoever saying it's a bad idea
