Pre-Order DJ Hero (Xbox 360) For £76.92 @ PowerPlayDirect

Found 16th Aug 2009
This is a deal for the pre order of "DJ Hero" on the Xbox 360 console.

The normal price is £78.49, but if you add PowerPlayDirect voucher code PP-02-DISCOUNT or B4U, you will get it for £76.92. I think this is a good price as the next available pre-order price I can see online is £90 @ The Hut and ShopTo.

Apparently, the RRP for this was supposed to be £108, but I don't think that's likely. The game is not due out until the 30th of October 2009.

I saw those on google images, but wasn't sure if they were real, or the fan's mock ups.

I got if off Teamxbox.com, apparantly it's an official mockup. Multiplayer looks alright:

Multiplayer: Two DJs can battle competitively, or have one player mc with a microphone. DJ Hero also features DJ-guitar exclusive mixes played with a turntable and Guitar Hero guitar controller.

Not much dance admittedly (which does seem a bit daft), but certainly not all RnB/Urban:

* Bell Biv DeVoe
* Benny Benassi
* Billy Squier
* Black Eyed Peas
* Blondie
* Boogie Down Productions
* Chuck Brown
* David Bowie
* Dizzee Rascal
* Eminem
* Eric B & Rakim
* Eric Prydz
* Foo Fighters
* Foreigner
* Gary Numan
* Gorillaz
* Grandmaster Flash
* Gwen Stefani
* Herbie Hancock
* InDeep
* JAY-Z
* DJ Jazzy Jeff
* Jurassic 5
* Justice
* Kid Cudi
* LL Cool J
* Marvin Gaye
* N.E.R.D.
* Public Enemy
* Rick James
* Tears for Fears
* Zombies
* The Aranbee Pop Symphony Orchestra

Still don't fancy the game much myself though, but here's the official website if anyone wants a look:

gonna wait for the price to drop below at least £50 because for that you can get the entire band in a box edition for Rock Band which is better than just the turntable... I am tempted though, anyone know if there'll be a demo for this game? voted hot anyway ^_^

The price has gone up to £84.99 now

I think you'll be waiting a long while to get it sub £50.

I don't know if they'll be a demo really, as without a turntable, you can't really get the full experience of the game.

If I'd played a demo of Guitar Hero with a regular controller, I doubt i'd have gone on to purchase the game and guitar as I did.
