Do you think I'd look funny if I zoomed round university on these? I really want a pair...!

I was casting a beady eye over a pair of these out in Los Angeles last summer. My now ex-girlfriend certainly didn't share my enthusiasm for wanting a pair.
Having said that I suspect I'd be rather too shy to go wheeling down the highstreeton my lunchbreak.

You could 'float' through the halls Emma, like the wizards at Hogwarts.:)

Great - my sons have been nagging for these but they are £65 in the stores!! Now they can have a pair each for Christmas - free P&P for orders over £50. Sorted!! They are known by the kids as Heeleys.

Actually Heelys is a brand name for a company that makes this type of shoe.

Surely these have been on the go for at least 5 years now?

It was about 5 years ago that shoes with pull-out wheels on the bottom were a craze, but these only have one wheel located at the heel.

How do they work then with only one wheel I was looking at getting my son a pair but just realised they only have one wheel!

I saw a girl on a pair of them just yesterday, it did look a bit like she was floating along above the ground a little. It looks like a matter of balancing yourself and I couldn't immagine being able to go to far unless you spread your legs so that one is in front of the other.

nice
i saw a kid recently in a shop...
