I bought an outdoor revolution tent back in 2003, I was impressed by the quality for the price I wonder what size this packs to
Link takes you to the Outdoor Revolution 6 person air tent. Have picked up instore special buy leaflet which confirms this is an online order only item.
Don't think this is the usual quality of an outdoor revolution tent, only a 3000HH is quite low. Good price for air but I'd avoid personally.

That's strange. Website contradicts that

But other outdoor revolution tents are way, way more expensive

I clicked on the Get Deal Link which brought me to this page:
aldi.co.uk/out…900
It states "Outdoor Revolution 6 Person Air Tent Product Ref: 019582289568900" so could be similar to the one "barkinglama" bought.
In the description / product details it states "Outdoor revolution model: Cruiz 6.0E"
I included my comment so people clicking through the get deal link would know the tent you've posted is the one in the Special Buys instore leaflet as well as the Special Buys website.

Yes they are, I just wanted to point out although this appears to be cheap for an outdoor revolution air tent, it appears to not be the same quality as other outdoor revolution tents. Therefore anyone looking at this and thinking an Outdoor Revolution air tent for less than £300 might be lured into thinking this was a better deal than it actually is, it appears almost like the Vango basic range where people see a Vango tent and assume the quality will be the same price as other Vango tents for £500+.

I wasn't slagging off the deal, this is a good price for an air tent from a reputable brand, just be aware it seems this is at the budget end of the brands range.

Fair point!
u buy it then?
Heard a lot of horror stories last year on various camping groups regarding Aldi air tents - the majority of which stated that the beams had weak spots, which led to massive bumps/bubbles in places, bursting, splitting etc.
These larger tents used to be advertised as a 6 Man tent, which you took with a pinch if salt unless you lie like sardines! Now they are advertised as a 6 person tent, I wonder if there is any difference?😘

Last year's aldi air tents were not made by outdoor revolution. Outdoor revolution tents have a lifetime warranty on the air beams as the beams have a safety valve so will not burst or overinflate.

I'm assuming they have the same lifetime beam warranty with the tents they supply Aldi, maybe different??
I was looking at this but think this one is a better deal - hotukdeals.com/dea…138

That's good to know, thanks for the info.

Since discovered theres no lifetime warranty on the beams for this model tent only for the more expensive Outdoor revolution tents. Don't think this model has the safety valve on the beams either.
Berghaus Air tents are amazing if you can get them on offer. And there guarantee is equally amazing, for the lifetime of the tent. They exchanged mind on store after it had a small leak without even inspecting it. Appreciate it might be a bit above budget in the context of the deal posted here though.
Sold out
Ours arrived Yesterday. We were expecting to love it due to dimensions & Design. But it has to go back as it is faulty.
Several manufacturing marks in the groundsheet and the Roof which may lead to leaks. One of the Bedroom Links was not there at all. but most of all 1 valve leaked so badly and another had a slow leak. Pretty useless really.
Still waiting on ours to be delivered, but feeling apprehensive now that it’s going to be rubbish and we will have to send it back!
Would never buy Outdoor Revolution again, we paid £900 for a Airedale 6.0s which had lots of issues, the quality was awful. They also mislead you with the denier of the material where they state HDE, which isn't a recognised measurement and makes you think it's a higher number than it actually is.

We joined several groups on Facebook and lots of people are having issues with their tents and accessories.

We went to several tent shops after we had a refund and none of the outdoor revolution tents had stood up well in the very little sun we have had so far this year. One particular shop had lots on display and before we even said anything advised us against that brand.

We ended up buying a Vango Technical Cotton tent in the end.

And even Vango are not without their issues, EVERY lower end Vango air tent we saw had holes/rips in the roof from UV damage.

strange, I'm part of a few FB camping groups and you'll struggle to find any negative posts about the outdoor revolution Airedale 6s, infact I just actively searched the group's to find people with issues and could only find one post from a chap that had trouble inflating the tubes who just refused to take helpful advice from fellow 6s tent owners.

These groups are littered with posts from people who are over the moon with their tents. I have the Airedale 6 and in my opinion it's a brilliant tent, better quality than the majority of tents for a similar price.
The fabric is a lot thicker than most polyester tents too but you are right in that their definition of fabric weight is not standard denier weight. Of course polycotton tents or cotton mix tents are going to be thicker but there's a big jump in price for that type of tent and also added weight and pack size to consider.

Some members of these groups are on the third year with their O.R. tents and have had no issues at all.

Strangely enough we are part of a lot of FB groups and the past week we keep seeing is complaints about Vango and OR, the Airedale 6.0s and the Ozone range, past few days even more so as a lot seem to be leaking. Some of the Vango range have flysheet material as a groundsheet, a lot have had soaking wet floors.

We really wanted to like the OR Airedale 6.0s, but ours was shocking and put us off, it didn't help a OR dealer swayed us away from them.I think last years models were better, the non S models.

Granted these things are sold in 1000s and you tend to find that most people are busy enjoying theirs and we only tend to hear from the people who have issues.

I did weigh it up when buying the 6 whether to spend a chunk more on the 6s but got the 6 brand new for a good price (£650).
I am now glad I didn't go for the 6s as only today seen that the bedrooms can't be split in half like they can with the standard airedale 6, it's the only way it works for our family of 4 is to divide the rooms equally between 2.

Yeh it's the same with anything you buy that's mass produced, there will always be a few lemons.
