So does anyone have any suggestions on the cheapest place to fine a seperate guitar? preferably an official one, as I've heard some of the third party ones don't work with GH2. I have the bundle ordered for 39.99 at PC World, and am trying to see if I can take advantage of play.com's cheapness

I wanted to get hold of a Guitar Hero bundle and the other solus game.

I bought Guitar Hero 1 bundle (including guitar from Littlewoods for £40.00 (with £15 of £25 spend code) + Quidco, and will only cost me £2 a week. :-D

I also pre-ordered this from Play and saved myself a packet for both games and the guitar altogether. Quidco for Play is only a measly 2%, but it's better than nothing.

The original guitar looks better than the newer one, which is a bit smaller as well.

HMV are doing this for £29.99. You can get this much cheaper by using the 10% code and 11% Quidco.

Alternatively, you can pre-order the Guitar Hero II bundle (if you're not really fussed about size/colour of guitar) from the using the £5 off for only £38.99 and 11% Quidco.

That's a fantastic price - I quite literally need to phone my Guitar Hero addict housemate immediately. He was going to hold off and buy the 360 version but this might tempt him to stick with the PS2 version - The added bonus of course is that I get to play on it til I get the 360 version, lol.

The original was playable without the guitar but there really isn't much point in using the pad.

Edit: Housemate was delighted (as am I!), have some well deserved rep.

When does Guitar Hero 2 come out for XBOX360?

I have the first one on PS2 -- can I use my guitar from GH1 on the PS2 version of GH2 ?

This one's still available at this price
