Seems ok deal to me I Like the English connection. Heat added - not seen any reviews tho, but the manufacturer has a proven good record.

This is only a pre-order at the moment, no indication of when they will start shipping.

Probably worth noting that the Honor 6 is also available through the vmall at £169.99 for a few days. (Around £240 elsewhere at the moment)

Lots of reviews have been posted online today.

It seems to be pretty nice for the money. Although most of the reviews complain about Huawei EMUI interface.

I've been looking at getting this one, contacted them on chat and they say they're looking to ship within 2 weeks.
Tried to clarify the 4G bands but all they said was it's compatible with the UK networks, not sure if they meant 4G or just the phone, anyone know as GSMarena implies it might not be 4G compatible for voda/o2 network...?

gsm arena seems to only list 1 and 3: LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800)

shame...

Google launcher should will fix the UI concerns. :-)

gsmarena lists the specs of the Chinese version... this one is modified to support all UK bands

This phone is a bargain. Currently the best selling phone in China and this is actually cheaper with the launch offer. Finally no rip off Britain.

Ignore the reviews complaining about EMUI. Only stock android snobs complain about it. Having used both, emui is much better.

Any info if this is a Dual Sim version ?

Don't we use FDD-LTE only in the UK, which says B1/B3 so not all UK networks?

Seems awesome deal for the buck! Thanks OP!

It's dual sim but if you're using a micro sd then only 1 sim.

WOW a lot of phone for the money

Heat given, its a fair bit of phone for the money, but I'd rather get the moto play...

£170 is an awesome price for the Honor 6!

I have the honor 6 and very happy with it..not sure about the benefit of upgrading to this...voted hot anyway

A launcher only solves part of it.

Only 16GB is a bit of a bummer. I'm not considering anything less than 32GB these days.

you got micro sd slot so you can put up to 128 GB sd card. plenty of space

A lot of phone for the price. Processor isn't the best and performs similar to Snapdragon 801. Not bad overall.

is that true or did you watch the android authority video which might of been a mistake???

dual sim and I buy,but is it?

How good is Huawei when it comes to software/OS updates? This is crucial when you are buying an Android device.

It's 100% dual sim, but not if using a micro sd slot.

yup

"The volume rocker and the power/lock key are on the right of the Honor 7. The left side of the device hosts the ejectable tray for a dual nanoSIM or a nanoSIM/microSD card setup. The hardware Smart Key is also on the left - you can configure its functionality in the phone's Settings."

This is only a mid-range phone. The SD801 was flagship.

Ha. Was gonna post this deal, you beat me to it. Im just about to order it. Looks like a good deal although i would hve liked the gold version

Which is a good thing for most users. Most well known manufacturers push out Android updates too fast due to demand and introduce tons of problems.

Doesn't solve the issue IMO. Can't merge the combined space into a single volume, so managing space becomes a chore and not everything can be transferred to SD card.

I got my wife the Honor 4X and it's a great phone, but just bunged Nova Launcher on it to get rid of it's own one and also that gives it an app drawer.

I'm very interested in this model saying I am still rocking the galaxy s3!

Did anyone get to the bottom of whether the phone will be supported by UK networks?
Or when they plan to ship the phone?
