we bought one of these for camping not realizing they dont have the small valve to inflate using a foot pump or 12v pump which our previous one had. so now purchased a inverter to use the built in pump. I always found our old one kept loosing air & needed inflating due to air escaping from the valve. but this one once inflated stays like it for the whole duration

Great price OP
LIke most air beds, it's a bit of luck that they don't lose some or lots of air. I have a single version of this which doesn't leak hardly at all but a double went down within a few hours of putting it up after a few uses. Decent price. I personally would get one without the pump. I've had this one amazon.co.uk/Rel…h=1 for a few years and has never let me down. Also much smaller for storage. Hot nevertheless at this price!
I bought the double last well from Dunelm for £39.99!! great mattress tho, does not deflate overnight and the pump can both inflate and deflate it
Just placed an order for this along with the kids bed with nightlight. Total about £46...just purchased a king size one last week from Amazon for £56 which will now be returned as have been able to get 2 for less.

Awesome beds. With that, no need for rubbish convertible sofas anymore.
Good price. Like a previous poster said, sometimes fine, sometimes go down. When camping they do tend to go down because the cold air is less dense, so it 'naturally' deflates. Tip for this is to inflate just before bed (rather than in the day) so the air temp is the same inside the bed as in the tent. Almost always it will then stay firm all night.

I went into Aldi in Swansea yesterday to buy one of these. Large star with a price in it was printed on the box.
Price in the star was £24.99, on shelf edge label showed £29.99.
Cashier got the manager when it rang through at the higher price. (I didn't point out the difference in price or ask for the manager, the cashier did this himself).
The manager was pretty rude and stated it was old stock rotation and I could pay the higher price or leave it.
Seems they're selling old stock at a higher price.
I chose to leave it. I'll find a store with the newer stock.

Being asked to pay £5 more than the marked price on the box makes it less of a hot deal, in my opinion.
just got mine delivered , has 24.99 on the box should i complain and get a fiver back ??
So had it delivered and it's stickered up as £24.99....

We have an active era king size I purchased from Amazon for £50 broken box. The quality and size is night and day different compared to the Aldi one. I am sending the Aldi back as it really is poor. It's cheap for a reason and is only shown up if you have one to compare against.
Aldi advised me to take my receipt back for a £5 refund (I didn't buy one because of the price discrepancy). They've altered their systems to reflect the £24.99 price.
