But you won't be able to do anything with the cardboard without the software!

I think you need to spend £100 to be covered.

really hope amazon price matches this, already preordered there with a discount code
I wouldn’t buy anything from Toys R Us that I don’t physically have in my possession immediately.
I think you'd have to be a special kind of stupid to preorder something from Toy r us to save yourself a tenner at the moment
This is the kind of thing you buy now and never open these will be gold dust in 30 years time
£50 for cardboard what a time to be alive

I'm fine with the cardboard, I like the concept, I think it looks great.

But I thought being a mini game collection, being cardboard and needing a Switch in the first place would make these cheaper than standard games.

For example Wii Play came with an actual controller and was a little cheaper than standard releases.

I still wouldn't bank on this pre-order if you definitely want it on launch. Unless you tend to pre-order from more place than one and cancel closer to the day.
£50 is the max it should be tbh, but at least this time you're saving something from RRP.

To be honest - not fussed on launch day hype now. Sick of paying over the odd premium prices only to see it settle or become a normal price after a few weeks. Xbox one X was annoying. Its the cheapest price and monies deducted on delivery. If ToysRUs do collapse nothing lost to be honest.

Worth the gamble - but knowing my luck they will collapse 24hrs before this game gets launched...

Nintendo stuff does has a history of keeping extremely close to their RRP.
Cold, it's cardboard and just stupid

I'd say good luck to those who tried to save a tenner...
