A budget pc builder who needs cheap ddr4???? Unhelpful comment
I would prefer to buy second hand of ebay potentially finding something still sealed but higher spee, dual dim config with heat sink and at a lower price.

I think these are subpar nowadays and will hold most modern systems back and for the price it would be stupid to go for these

dual dim config ..

meanwhile
fortunately it is a value selected ram, lol.
Last 4x8gb ddr4 2666mhz I bought was at less than £80 on amazon
Cold, very expensive for 'value' ram. Personally no problem with the brand, had corsair value in a couple of builds before without issue but for a budget item £132 is not cheap at all. Back in 'the good old days' before memory and GPU pricing went off the charts it was entirely possible to get this amount of DDR3 (this was pre DDR4) for around £70, now you have to nearly double it and that is just to pre-order a cheap brand! To anyone thinking about building a new PC: don't! Get a console instead! What with over priced components, insecure CPUs (thanks Intel) and the fact that mid gen refreshes of consoles like the Xbox One X particular are catching up fast with PC specs, there are fewer reasons than ever to build a new PC, which is a real shame IMHO.

Much as I love my gaming PC, if I had to buy one in today's market I would just get the cheapest thing I could for work and use a console for gaming....
