Yeh you can. Best thing about it.

With no fee to pay?

Sadly, looks like the voucher can't be used on hardware :x Seriously tempted though, but my PSP 1000 is still going strong...must resist:)

Sneaky edit - seems the voucher works on pre-orders when it really shouldn't so probably worth a punt

head added.. it says on the Game site when you pre order they will honor the price if it rises and youve already pre ordered!

At the current exchange rate I would expect this to most likely cost well over £200 at launch.

The R.R.P is going to be 249 euros, which comes out at just under £220.

Good deal, and it can be cancelled at any point, so if your thinking of getting one you have nothing to lose by pre-ordering with game now until other retailers announce their prices. Voted hot

Thing is though, if you don't need UMDs, you have to buy the games direct right? So that means you pay fixed Sony prices, and there won't be any 'deals' from other retailers, which means games are gonna be costly. Thats why I think a UMD based PSP might be a better option if I was to get one :?

Well, Nick...custom firmware. *cough* Plus games are normally £20- on PS Store.

Thats good thinking and knowing Sony they will keep prices high!
But I think as there is nothing 'physical' just a download they should make the games generally cheaper.

Also Sony has said the PSP Go! will be sold simultaneously with the PSP-3000.

Cheers.

Hmmmmmm, well, i'll have a good think about it, but might as well pre order anyway and cancel then. I guess if it is RRP £200+ I could always sell for profit. meh, what the hell..... cheers.

quidco too and reward points if ur gonna take the plunge

ordered thanks, no new laptop for me this year

rather buy the older psp but this one has bluetooth support and 16gb onboard flash memory for game storage (as well as m2 memory card support).. if custom firmwareable then good deal else i prefer the old model.

I best order mine soon, considering I posted it!

Also GAME Reward Card members get up to 3600 Reward Points (worth £9.00) with this item.

hope they bundle a game with this

(for download obviously)

Resist! Why pay more for a lesser machine? psp3000.org.uk/psp…asp

If this thing was £125 it would make sense, but if it comes in at £200+, you're better off buying a new PSP 3000.

Price is £230 now.

Just wanna say thanks OP for the heads up, using my game voucher I'll be getting this for about £164 (inc. Quidco/Points) and now it's worth £230 day one . Heat + Rep added.

Damn, would have gone for one at that price.

I think £175 is still expensive for something like that. I am bit suprised at the price in fairness. Not worth it

imo its not worth the extra cash, and you wont be able to get 2nd hand games which means no cheap games .

you also wont be able to sell on games you don't like

dude wat is the voucher code

I want this just for blue tooth support as you can connect your six axis/ dualshock 3 directly to it and play games.

Hopefully Sony will release some software in order to convert my back catalog of umd games or some way to download the games you already own for free.

Thank you very much.. i ordered it yesterday got it for £169.99 with vouchers and reward points.. Ive just had an email this morning saying

Thank you for the following order placed with GAME.

Order number(s):
0****74/P

You may have noticed that the price of Sony PSP Go! Black Console on the GAME site has gone up to 229.99 GBP

Please do not worry, your credit / debit card will be charged with the lower amount as originally agreed when you placed the order. This is merely one of the benefits of the GAME 1st To Play Preorder Service!

Youve saved me £60 THANK YOU

I'd love to see PSP games playable on the PS3, cannot see why they dont allow it. its not like you could take your tv and ps3 on the bus and play it.

Lol, what are they playing at putting a price up so soon before launch.
I should hope Sony don't consider launching it at £230 at release. I think to price it over £180 would be a very stupid thing for Sony to do. Who would seriously pay that for a redesign of a PSP?
