Tesco currently have an offer of 250 bonus points on Blu Ray pre-orders. In addition spend over £ 25 and get £ 5 off using code TD-KFPW.

I have pre-ordered Skyfall and Taken 2 for total of £ 24.98 plus I get 524 CC points worth between £ 5.24 and £ £ 20.96. Plus 8% Quidco worth another couple of pounds - so potentailly virtually free.

The bonus points are added automatically.

Also 150 extra CC points for DVD pre-orders.

I paid £ 24.98 after the discount (2 x £ 14.99 - £ 5) but then also got 524 points. Voucher is £ 5 off spends over £ 25.
Shame they have such a poor selection of Blu ray pre-orders i'd have had Skyfall and Schindlers List (if it was available)
tesco also take the money straight away now, not on despatch

I highly recommend Taken 2 not as good as the first but still very good (better than Skyfall IMO)
I thought Tesco Ent had ceased to be. Though I'm sure I heard Play was closing too but they haven't stopped selling things yet.
This is something great to abuse...!! Does anyone know if you can keep using this or will it only let you use it once? It a great offer to advantage of whilst its on

They have - it's part of Tesco Direct now.

And Play is closing, just not right away.

lolwut? I admit Taken 2 had a lot of potential but the movie was over in a flash. I feel like hardly anything happened in the film. Not even close to Skyfall.

Its a good deal but I'm really struggling to find a couple of pre-orders I want there. Skyfall was good, though I didn't think as amazing as all the reviews said. As a fan of Taken I was very disappointed with the sequel.

Possibly based on the value of clubcards if changed up to 4x the value

You spend £24.98
You get 8% Quidco (£2) and up to £20.96 worth of clubcard points depending how you spend them. Which makes it £2.02 for 2 new-release blurays.

Apparantly play.com is closing sometime in March and they will just exist as play trade marketplace for sellers/companies

Exactly.

Liam Neeson was taken for maybe what? a couple of hours max?
Ofcourse that is to be expected from someone that has acquired as many skills as Brian Mills. But then why choose that as the main plot?
It's like kidnapping the hulk. It's just not gonna end well for the bad guys.

Taken 1 = Amazing. Have watched it at least 3 times by now.
Taken 2 = Meh at best. Watch it once and never again.
Noticed you can pre-order taken 1&2 bluray box set for £20 with code given and 275 club card points, may interest someone
My main issue with Taken 2 was that they dropped it to a 12, now not necessarily a bad thing in itself, but it looked very much like a late decision and many of the fight scenes were badly cut accordingly.
quidco will decline on pre orders

quidco will decline on pre orders

My order has tracked OK. Currently tracking at 3% through Quidco but you also get the following message

Any sales made through Tesco Entertainment will initially track at a lower amount and become updated by the time your purchase has been confirmed.
for people who haven't seen either buy both films watch and sell to cex, that is watching for free!
Taken 2 is awful, 'Sweatheart, I Need to know were you are, Run around the rooftops of a populated city and throw grenades' What a joke.
And there is so much editing in the fight scenes and the car chase, That during the car chase I had to keep looking away because it was making me feel sick.
"The bonus points are added automatically." Is this true?

Yes. Deals like this were previously never conformed on your order and you had to rely on customer services adding the bonus points manually at the end of the month but now they just get added in with the points earned on the cost of the purchase.

yes it does that, but it will then decline, and you can appeal it but it stays declined. It is the case even if only 1 item is a preorder in your order and the rest are ordinary

Points still not showing on my account, therefore not "instant."

Extract from my CC account showing addition - probably took hours rather than seconds so agreed that "instant" isn't probably technically correct but then I don't think I used the word "instant", I think I said "automatically" meaning it does not require customer service intervention.

I was just informed by Tesco Direct customer services that points take up to 6 weeks to be added. Good if you've received them already though.
My points are now showing.

Just 'pre-ordered' Game of Thrones 1&2 for an extra 296 points!
My points are also showing as well
