Just spotted this at Zavvi and ordered it, this boxset contains all ten remastered Star Trek movies on blu-ray and from what I have read the box has a hologram on it that makes it look like the Enterprise is suspended in midair (but I cannot confirm this).

It will be released on the 16th November and has an unbelievably high rrp of £179.99 but the price Zavvi is selling it at is the cheapest I can find even before the 10% off code (weekend10)

Please don't vote cold just because you don't like Star trek and I know it's still expensive but it is the cheapest price available and thats what counts.

I agree that prices a have started to drop but you can cancel the order anytime you like so I am happy to buy now and keep an eye out for any better deals between now and release ;-)

I wasn't gonna miss out on this price though just incase this the best price it sells at for a long while, and this also seems like it could be a great xmas present for Star Trek fans out there so I wouldn't expect a lower price until next year at the earliest.

Well, the 4 films that are currently available individually are around the £12.89 mark last I looked, so this works out fairly cheap, just a big chunk to pay at once. Still, a decent price for what you get.

Interesting that it doesn't have the new Star Trek included though, when thats released in November also. I'm holding off as I already have the DVDs (8 in their 2 disc form, 2 in the version with 1 disc and a free computer game - now why don't they do that any more!), so am prepared to wait for a significant price drop first before I replace stuff

I agree with you about not including the new movie it is disappointing that it's not in this set.

I was just trying to give people an idea of what the box is like as it is something some people like to know, I for one don't mind what the packaging is like and only care about the discs inside.

Lovely product. Terrible price.

Haven't Zavi gone out of business yet?
Surprised they made it through the wave of stores going bust.

Villa: Zavvi is just a brand name used by thehut.com now, along with half a dozen other similar sites.
