Good Price.

Beats my pre-order at Amazon. Thanks for listing, ClubLife.

Original Poster

No problemo.

Wait a year after release and it'll be a THIRD of that price.

really? the dvd's still hold a decent price some 10 years or more later, infact im sure if i sold my box sets which have the originals and remasters i bet i would get more money than i originally paid.

and most fans will i guess like me, will have been waiting for a high def version since it came out.

i will wait a little longer although i doubt the price will go below £60 for the next year unless a misprice

Some potentially useful discussion from one of the (many) other listings...

Yup and for this very reason why I'm not interested in the blu ray set.
I'd rather watch movies that are awesome in standard def than HD remasters that I'm just going to be cringeing all the way through.

the only way a star wars boxset would be good would be if it included george lucas' head on a pole with his tongue hanging out and a hockey sock stapled onto each side of his head so he looked like jar jar binks that you could mount on some kind of punching bag so you could beat the %$#* out of it any time you make the spastic decision to watch episodes I, II or III or indeed any of the original episodes that he wrecked by "improving" them with CGI the incompetent ****.

at around £10 / film this represents good value in my book

what planet are you living on? Star Wars was released 34 years ago and even Revenge of the Sith is six years old £5 a film maybe but £65 is daylight robbery
