You’ll be lucky if you even get 1 update.

Are you thinking of a different device, because Nokia are one of the first manufacturers to get updates out to their phones.

It sounds like a great phone - pity I have just upgraded mine or I would have considered it.

Wowza, does it have usb-c, because if it does, I'm literally gonna snuff it here on the spot

Argos has a 30 day return/refund policy even f there is nothing wrong with the item - I have another 2 weeks to consider sending my recent phone back - decisions decisions.

I got the Honor 9 Lite - I really like it but the Nokia would replace it and my old Nexus 7

Looks great. Wish it was waterproof. Still going to order it. Thanks Mrswith. Heat added 🔥 🔥
Looking forward to ordering this phone in May Guesses on pricing after a couple of weeks?

Are you joking? Argos have been impossible for me to return electronics.

Thanks for that it may make my decision easier. I only read their returns policy and it sounded straightforward.

Hi,
Are you sit having problems returning items or is that issue now resolved/ a while back?
Nice. Shame I have no need. Heat anyway.

It was last year. I had opened the box and powered the device on. Only had it 24 hours but wouldn’t accept a return because I’d opened it. Sure enough returns policy says unused items and they argued by me opening it the device was used.

Ah yes - I see that now - unused.

That's my decision made for me - I'll wait a year and pick it up for £200

It could be the person serving you. That makes a big difference sometimes. I bought an amazon stick and a kindle fire. Opened them, used them few days. Had few issues with them and took them to Argos. One got replaced and other refunded. Exectly what I wanted.

I think that's the reason they replaced/refunded you. Used, but changed your mind is not the same thing.
Looks like a nice phone but the lack of a physical home button means it is not for me.
I really want this phone, but my old phone finally gave up go last week, and got a refurbished Nokia 6 from Laptops direct.
I'm obviously not as much of a power user as I thought I was, told it would be a really slow phone.
But can't knock the performance of the Nokia 6 and even though said refurbished, arrived in Pristine condition with all brand new accessories.
Can't really now justify getting this, if the Nokia 6is doing such a Stella job.

Seems like an odd requirement to me. Im intrigued, why would you need a physical home button?

I generally don't get on with devices that have a virtual home button as part of the regular screen. The button ends up being too close to space bar of the on-screen keyboard. This means that whilst typing a message, I will occasionally hit the home button instead of the space bar and hey presto I've managed to quit out of the message. I have particularly found this a problem with Huawei phones. Being much more stock Android, perhaps Nokia phones are better at size, position and separation of the virtual home button from the onscreen keyboard?

Of course a physical home button will always be more tactile than a touch screen. Also, a physical button on the front will make it easier to wake-up a phone being held in a car cradle (i.e. easier than finding the power button on the side, or finding the finger print reader on the back). You could of course just wake-up the phone with a voice command, I suppose?

Definitely my next phone if the camera is decent once reviews start coming in. I'll wait a while though since all Nokia phones of late have a tendency to drastically drop in price a short while after release. See the Nokia 8/6 etc.

I know, staff couldn’t do it, had to go through the store manager. She is the one that declined it. Anyway, lesson learnt, order online in future!
Will I still get the Google mini if I pre order from amazon?
I was ready to order the honor View 10 but the lack of updates put me off, whilst the Nokia may not have quick charge it won't be a problem as it should get me through the day unlike my s7.

No, amazon dojnt sell Google products, the only place you will get a free mini is the Nokia website when it goes live.

Thank you, I miss the stock android and regular updates that I used to get from the nexus phones, the pixel phones are just too expensive.
Nokia may just be the phone I have been waiting for.

I think so, especially as its an android one handset.
Might look into this further. Really hate my s8. Might sell it to Cex or somewhere and buy this.
No I just ordered a phone
Excellent deal there. HOT
Been looking to replace my phone and this is quite tempting has everything I need and at half the cost compared to others.
