Nintendo Switch Console Grey (Switch) - £199.99

Nintendo Switch Console Blue & Red

  • In addition to providing single-player and multiplayer thrills at home, the Nintendo Switch system also enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whomever they choose. The mobility of a handheld is now added to the power of a home gaming system to enable unprecedented new video game play styles
  • At home, Nintendo Switch rests in the Nintendo Switch dock that connects the console to the TV and lets you play with family and friends in the comfort of your living room. By simply lifting the Nintendo Switch console from the dock, it will instantly transition to handheld mode, and the same great gaming experience that was being enjoyed at home now travels with you. The portability of Nintendo Switch is enhanced by its bright high-definition display. It brings the full home gaming system experience with you to the park, on a train, in a car, or to a friends apartment
  • Gaming springs into action by removing detachable Joy-Con controllers from either side of the Nintendo Switch console. One player can use a Joy-Con controller in each hand; two players can each take one; or multiple Joy-Con controllers can be employed by numerous people for a variety of gameplay options. They can easily click back into place or be slipped into a Joy-Con grip accessory, mirroring a more traditional controller. Or, if preferred, the gamer can select an optional Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to use instead of the Joy-Con controllers. Furthermore, it is possible for numerous people to bring their Nintendo Switch consoles together to enjoy local multiplayer face-to-face competition

Eww, pre-owned ? Someone might have had a Wii on it.
I got a Switch for Christmas.

Have not been able to put it down.

The ability to play a console quality game in my hand is just outstanding. And Nintendo ones at that.

It's not even about taking it out and about (which is great). It's just when you have a spare 10 minutes, you can pick this up, have a quick play and then put it down.

So quick, so easy.

I bought it with 3 games. Mario Kart has been superb for the multiplayer. Mario Odyssey is simply one of the best games EVER and I competed that to 100%. Now I'm on Zelda, and whilst I do prefer a traditional Zelda, it is simply breathtaking. 3 divine beasts down, one to go!!!

Next big purchase is Donkey Kong. But I'm also going to pick up Wonderboy and maybe Shantae for some retro style platforming action. Got my eye on Owl Boy too. Plus, Mario Rabbids is getting cheaper and cheaper every day. Haven't even thought about things like Splatoon, Arms or Xenoblade Chronicles. By the time I do, there will be Hyrule Warrios, Smash Bros and no doubt more. Kirby, Yoshi...maybe even Pokemon.

The Switch has well and truly arrived!

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention the hidden gem that is Snipperclips. Perfect multiplayer fun for all ages. Only £18.99 new at Grainger as well!

Mine was the same. Was pretty chuffed, now that £25 is nagging at me as it could go towards Dark Souls
Are they all 32gig?
Awesome price. I bought like new on £210. Definately, £199.99 worth the money for the Nintendo Switch.

this is my biting point used or new.... i planned on buying this and getting rid of my 3ds/wii u to pay for it..
but i have a ton of 3ds games yet to play and wii u....
i want but going to have to wait me thinks..
Ah man that’s all I needed - sub £200 !
Seen that the Switch has been out now for just over a year - I wonder if its sold as well as Nintendo had hoped? It seems a lot of people have a Switch as well as a PS4 or Xbox.
just got console disgaea 5 new argos £26.99 now need pro controller/memory card/orzlyscreen protectors

I don't know about others. I owned a PS4 and a gaming laptop(I travel a lot so pc is no no atm).. But switch for me is just something magical.. People can bash all they want about switch being underpowered.. I never own a Nintendo console (only bootleg NES way back maybe).. But I fall in love with switch..

So hopefully its sells well.. So that there would be a big market for 2nd hand consoles or games.

I read comments on utube people bashing switch (so Smach-z trailer video).. I just find a powerful portable computer is redundant no matter whther it is smaller or not with existence of the pascal GPU architecture laptop

Think of it this way, is this time you spend returning it worth £25? I'd do it if it were me, buying, unboxing, repackaging and going to my local post office would take me around 30 minutes total. £25 in 30 minutes is a good return.

That's what I'm thinking. And seeing as I've had the other one for a few weeks, I more inclined to just send the new one I receive back on the old order number, so I don't even have to package it all up...
now im really tempted but i know it wouldnt ever leave the house as that part dont tempt me id just play it handheld in the house like my 3ds
Was sure I wouldn't go Nintendo again, despite holding them close to my heart. But their indroduction of subscription payments means I'll never use them again, they made the choice for me. Don't think I can justify another subscription plan.
Have forwarded onto my mom and wife for possible birthday present
Genuine question here not hating but if you have a Wiiu then doesn't the switch only have one essential game? The portable gaming side is not something that would interest me.

I'm in the same boat. I upgraded my PS4 to Pro and XB1 to X straight away as the games run better on my 4k TV. Only Odyssey interests me on Switch that isn't on WiiU, I don't want portable gaming. I just bought Bayonetta 2 for £6 from a deal on here on WiiU the same game is being released for £40 on switch.
I personally would pay extra and get new. For the extra £70 you know the sealed battery has not been hammered. You also get a 12 month guarantee from Nintendo instead of 6 months from Granger.
