Confirmed for Xbox One on Inside Xbox.

Seems to be the best price I can see as about £11.50+ for a boxed copy on eBay and will probably skyrocket in price.

Unsure if everyone will get the extra content with the base game..

I've been wondering about the DLC too. The only listing on the Xbox store for it is the GOTY version, so I'm thinking they might treat it the same as Borderlands, and just give everyone the DLC, regardless of whether you use the standard or GOTY disk. Also curious about the price. Every other Xbox OG BC game is £8.99, wondering if they'll bump up the price for this one.

Ah was wondering what the cost of the OG games were. Got a copy of this coming for £6 from a FB gaming group but £8.99 would be good for the GOTY. Like you say if they treat it like Borderlands that would be good as otherwise original owners of the disc will be restricted and would have to purchase it again which would be unfair really. I bet it’s been challenging to male Morrowind BWC anyway.

You might be right, they may bump this one up. Hopefully not.

I've seen a disk only copy for £6. If it's more than the £8.99 on the store, and the DLC is included with standard disks, I might just pull the trigger on the disk. God of War is out in a week, and I'm more excited at the chance to play a 16 year old game with a colour palette consisting of 50 shades of brown.

Also, apparently the leaked list isn't everything being announced. Rumour is those are just the ones that have been added to the store. Some OG Xbox games available digitally for 360 might also pop up on X1 tonight. *Prays intensely for Jade Empire with a One X patch*
Think you'd just be better off playing this / buying this on the PC for this price? Though I do appreciate there's a bit of nostalgia for folks to be able to play using an Xbox controller. Brings back memories for myself! However the PC version with all the mods available would be the superior version.

I have it on steam, and booted it up mod free earlier. It holds up pretty well even in it's Vanilla state. Prefer to play RPG's with a controller, and if they give it an X patch, even just for a 4K resolution boost, I'd prefer that over PC. I know you can use programs like XPadder to play PC games with controller, but it's extra faffing about I'd rather avoid.
Never played this one? Any good, I preferred oblivion to skyrim if that matters.

    Some say it's the best.
"Hopefully you can buy the extra content separately"

    That's a big nope I'm afraid,
the vanilla and GOTY editions were released separately and the DLC was never available on it's own,
the saves aren't even compatible between versions,

The vanilla edition of Morrowind did not initially work on the 360 and I don't know for sure, if it was ever fixed,
so best to wait for the announcement before purchasing, just in case

    Nice username.

This was my introduction to elder scrolls games and is probably still my favourite for atmosphere and quirkiness. It will be incredibly dated compared to Oblivion or Skyrim; I’d liken it to going back to Demons Souls right after finishing Bloodborne, it’ll be jarring at first but if you can get along with the graphics and gameplay shortcomings that have been ironed out in later iterations there is a lot going on.

I’d get the GOTY version on Steam if that’s an option, currently £6.49 (50% off) and as others have said - it can be quite substantially modded with better textures, models etc as with most PC games.

Hopefully they give it for free as an upgrade as mentioned before. My bad bro.

    Oh thanks

Haven't got a pc so that's ruled out. I'll prob have a look at some gameplay, I can imagine the graphics would be fine if you played the game previously.

Still waiting on a demon's souls remaster haha.
I found this game so lifeless...epic in scope but it seemed like a giant world with noone in it.

I think that's part of the appeal, exploring a vast world with a sense of isolation. I realize that just sounds like me blindly defending it, and it was probably down to not having the hardware to have a ton of NPC's rather than an artistic direction they chose, but it was kind of cool to just explore between towns. Meant that when you did meet an NPC, you felt like they were quite important. Looking forward to giving it another go, only ever played about 15 hours of it before, and barely scratched the surface.

The rumours are it's Bluepoint's next big remaster, but then there are a bunch of theories about it. Only one I would want more than Demon's Souls is a Metal Gear Solid remake.

I think Demon’s Souls remaster is probably my number one game I’d like to be remastered too, it took me 4 years and numerous attempts until it finally clicked but when it did it became probably my favourite PS3 game - at this point I’d take a 1080p 60fps version of the original with the servers switched on, I wouldn’t want to change anything. Have you seen it emulated on PC at 4K, straight from the PS3 disc? The jump in resolution alone makes it look so beautiful (it was always a better looking game than Dark Souls 1 imo anyway.

If what @teddy1590 said turns out to be true (as they have said that they’re working on something they’re keeping under wraps) I’d be very happy but also a little worried that if it’s being made from the ground up like Shadow of the Colossus that it could lose that something that made it so very special.

As for Morrowind, you should go for it- I’ve almost convinced myself to re-install it just talking about it here, I own it on Steam but not played it since launch!

If they list it on the Xbox store digitally for the GOTY at £8.99 you may be better selling this as it’s £28 at CeX and £30+ on eBay. That’s if you don’t wanna keep it as it’s a nice Edition and will always be worth that if not more.

It's not pristine as it was from CEX in the first place (they were selling it for £12 judging by the receipt in the box) and for some reason they have drawn over the barcode in red pen for some reason but it is pretty good, has a map in it that has ripped a little along the creases. I might look into that as I don't mind digital.
    rrrrrright folks,
there appears to only be one listing on the xbox site,
it's for the base edition, but it says it includes both expansions,
so maybe just maybe either disc will work the same.

Prepare to be brutally savaged by some annoying cliff racers, then some more, ad infinitum

Because it's the cheapest currently doesn't mean it's a good price. Like with all the GPU "deals" are a lot more than what they should be

I notice when games became backwards compatibility they skyrocket in price

Ok the fact it’s now £10 at CeX and OOS and copies raising from £19.99 onwards makes me think £7 was a good price. Likewise your comment could be flipped back on your original statement I.e just because it’s an old game doesn’t mean it’s a bad game.

Old games are the best but I don't think 2 generation old game (pre-owned) is worth £7, if it's new yes but if it's been used and someone's attic for over a decade
