Pre-owned Xbox Arcade Console With Fifa 11, So possibly new

Original Poster

possibly dont hold me to it but if u bought it but it sayes new instock ????????

Was looking to buy Fifa 11 (£24) and a new controller (£22) for my existing console anyway so when I saw this it made sense to pay a bit extra and get a back up console.
Thanks OP.

so its new or preowned?

Considering it says Pre-owned on the title, the picture AND the description you can bet it's pre-owned unless you get lucky. Just because people luck out once or twice does not mean that it happens all the time.

I think the thing that is 'new' is the bundle. They just have 'new' bundles consisting of a pre-owned Xbox Arcade and a (possibly new?) copy of Fifa 11. I think that makes the most sense.

This will definitely be preowned.
The KZ3 bundle was just due to them clearing a rare hardware bundle with a unique SKU (i.e. all in one official manufacturer's box, with a unique barcode).
You'll sometimes see the GAME group do the same with "preowned" collectors editions that turn out to be new.

I'd personally have some misgivings about buying a used Xbox, but it has a warranty, etc...

You can pick up a cheap xbox live starter pack (inc 60GB HDD) from Amazon for circa £37:

Now showing as pre-owned on Game site and not brand new anymore....

Can you use a hdmi with this xbox?

This means that it can be a HDMI model, but it can also not be.

Mine arrived yesterday, it is an HDMI model with 256mb memory and came with the arcade games.

Hi, this looks good! Can anyone please confirm that a 60gb harddrive can be put on this, as my son's xbox broke but he still has the hard drive? Thanks in advance xx

Yes, it should be fine with this model.

His harddrive will fit in any xbox 360, as long as it isnt one of the newer "xbox slim" models (The ones that have a bit of an indent in the case, are black, and are either 250gb or 4gb in size)

Edit:

It's possible to make his existing hard drive fit in one of the new black xbox slim models, but it would involve buying a specialised hard drive case, and then removing the hard drive from the current case and inserting it in the new one, etc.
And it'd only be worth doing with his 60GB HDD if he was planning to get one of the 4GB models
There's sure to be a guide online somewhere for that process...

The small plastic cases are cheap and available from Dealextreme etc, just slide the drive in and push the lid on. Just used a 20 gig from an old xbox with no probs
