Saw these in a basket in Poundworld in Bishop Auckland today - probably nationwide - as advertised with a professionally printed flyer.

Boxed Pregnancy Testing Kits - some of them were packaged as 2 for £1.00.

Looked like a decent make but ..hey I'm no expert. Big saving on well known brands which retail around £10.00

Instore only and sorry no picture - didn't want to get arrested photographing these items.

Good point and to be honest with advances in modern science I would imagine that they are all very, very similar now - just paying for the name and the advertising.

Shopping in Poundland last year just before April the !st There was a bunch of girls about 12/13 olds in a fit of giggles

They were in the queue all buying one of these kits planning were they were going to put them were their parents could "find" them Even plotting morning sickness together...I often wonder how the "APRIL FOOL" went down in their houses.;-)

Forgot to mention.

These are the same ones we used to test for our lad. They work. The boy is the evidence of that. So if anyone's thinking "Poundworld - they won't work",. well they do.

Anyone needing help requiring a positive test :whistling::-D:whistling:

anyone heard the joke from the comedian...damn you know what i forgot his name...this happens to me alot when i start to type i bloody forget but anyway it goes something like this...

so me and my wife have been trying for a baby and theres a time of month when shes ovulating its like the best time to conceive. so each month she'll send me out to buy these pregnancy tests.

and she always says buy the ones from boots the expensive ones the ones from boots (i forgot the name of these aswell)

now ladies and gents, they cost £14.99 each. im buying these every month and all she does is pee on them.

what im trying to say is, i could have got broadband at that price!

LOL! love it!

You are not even paying for the name or the advertising. You are paying simply for the price. Basically a lot of women do not trust cheap tests, so by putting your price up it puts the woman's mind at ease over the validity of the result.

posted loads of times - they have had these in store for over 2 1/2 years as a friends wife was getting them (her child is about to turn 2 this week) :whistling:

Same as the meal you buy on Valentines night. Worth £14.99 to put my wifes mind at rest and notto seem cheap on such an important and emotive point. Clearblue get my money even if the science is right (which I believe it is). Besides we got two kids from a three pack.

Yeah, but every one of those girls have been telling the truth all along, besides, we're not all footballers on 20 gazillion a week:lol:

Great offer!!It gets expensive when you want to test every day until you see the scan lol although we wont be needing them as already have a 2 year old and 4month old haha think the partner would have a heartattack if he saw me with them!
heat added though :-)

In packs of two in case you're having twins?

I think his name is Michael McIntyre possibly, very funny guy!

i'll be sure to give one of these to each person i have casual drunken sex with!

I work as a doctor in the department of obstetrics and gynaecology and can unreservedly say you get what you pay for with pregnancy tests, one of my male collagues managed to get a positive result from one of these cheapo tests, I can assure you he was definitely NOT pregnant!
My workload cold be halved if people had taken a proper test and not turned up in hospital with bleeding thinking they were pregnant when it was JUST a period so take my advice and use a reputable brand such as clear blue
