how big a room would these heat? and any idea how much they cost to run? seems to be an excellent price

Depends on the cost of the electricity, but saying it was 10p per k/w hr then it would cost roughly about 8p an hour I worked it out at.

Obviously the more insulated the room is the more cost effective it will be. Cheers.

I ordered mines!

At 800kw it's never going to heat a big room easily in cold weather but at that price it looks a good deal.

Its not that big, only 15foot by 24 foot, but the radiator is terrible and not really heating the room. Was thinking this would supplement the existing heating.:)

i bought one of these halogen things recently but took it back because it felt and looked unatural

bought an oil heater joby instead and now i dont feel as if im about to catch fire when i sit 2 metres away from it

worth having just for emergency anyway

Thats the reason I bought it, we have gas central heating and these things have a tendency to break down over really cold periods, so at 6.99 for a halogen heater then I know that for a few quid I'm not going to freeze if the gas system decides to go kapoot. :-D

These halogen heaters are excellent . Just about everyone in the family own these things . I bought mine for £9.99 a few years ago . They give out a lot of heat , even on the lower setting .I keep mine in my computer room . Mines a different style to the one above , but the elements will be the same.
An ideal emergency heater .
