IT REALLY CHUCKLES ME, EVERYTIME I stay with a prem inn I grumble about … IT REALLY CHUCKLES ME, EVERYTIME I stay with a prem inn I grumble about my kip and they scramble to reiburse my monies. its a farce but a nice earner

I dunno, it's one thing to grab a bargain and then quite another to behave like that. I don't think boasting about it would redeem you to the masses either.

£8.95 for breakfast can never be considered a "bargain"

Find a local supermarket - lets be honest you are never far from one in the UK - get a bag of cereal fruit etc and you are sorted for far far less.

Shame also that the £29 rooms have now become £35 - guess that's the cost of providing slow as anything broadband!

Or even better just plunge your arm into the bins outside and pull out … Or even better just plunge your arm into the bins outside and pull out anything that feels like food

Or kill two birds with one stone (and eat them) erm no, kill two birds with one stone and kip down in the same bins. WTF do you suggest we do with a box of cereal walking along the street? Eat it like rabbit food in handfuls or pour a pint of milk into the box?

£8.95 for unlimited breakfast for parent and child is indeed a bargain.- eat all you like hot & cold and unlimited juice/coffee/tea - oh and cereals. Or go to a supermarket and buy - what was it- oh forget it, it is a daft idea

And don't forget the bargain family breakfast!

Eat-as-much-as-you-like/can for £8.95...AND..."Up to two under-16s eat breakfast for free when one adult orders a full Premier Inn Breakfast".

Not quite as good as when it was only £7.95, but a family feast for under £18. INCLUDING all drinks and all the 'Continental' cakes and pastries.

Little to be had. Seems like a plot to drive traffic to their site. Zero anywhere near london.

Used to work for Premier Inn sales, quickly learnt that with any of these offers, you need to book far from anything central of anywhere interesting. Also most often it's only on weekdays.

Can recommend Hanger Lane in London, which is usually cheaper than central London hotels. Is next to a tube, 20 mins on the central line to central London.

£8.95 breakfast includes 2 kids for free so bargain if you have kids.

I'm laying comfortably in a Prem Inn bed as I type, my fourth with the family since October, Manchester, Strattford, Boreham Wood and now Chester, each one has cost £35 for myself, my wife and two boys. I've found every stay great value for money, hotels are clean and comfortable and the breakfast I find personally is great value as for a family of four we pay £18, which for all you can eat and drink is superb value. Yes you can go to supermarket and spend less, however you could also save the £35 room fee and sleep in a cardboard box suppose! ..... And as for trying to swindle the 'good nights sleep' offer, I guess it's your prerogative , that not for our family, they always respect us sonim turn we respect them back.

Ps try Borehamwood prem in, 5 mins from Edgware tube, £4 to park at tube carpark all day and 20 mins on tube into central London. Easy. And that carpark is Sainsburys so if you are desperate enough to want to save a couple more quid you can walk around with a box of cornflakes in your hand as the wife pours the milk in !!!!

£95 for 2 nights in Edinburgh is a bargain. Last time went stayed in a grotty hotel for 1 night at same price. Heat from me
  34. deleted991656's avatar
There's no guarantee at all to get a good night sleep in their hotel. We stayed in a one a while ago, the person upstairs was very noisy all night so we hardly got any sleep at all. We didn't get our money back either after we complained to the hotel.

is it much better than travelodge?

Flexible (ie. cancel at late notice) rate at the Birmingham Bullring Travelodge is typically £51, at the Premier Inn 150 yds away it appears to be somewhere between £82-£93. Vote with your wallet...
  37. JC82's avatar
yeah i've stayed at the travelodge near work and is really clean and nice (£39 a night) the premier inn is about £79

Hot from me, managed to get a room at ,manchester Trafford centre for £35 for a family room in August on a Saturday night., as we are going to an event near there so this is exactly what we needed. we also have stayed in premier inn many times and find the rooms very comfortable, so absolutel bargain. We also find the breakfast well worth every penny.

In fairness, he didn't say he was rude, demanding or aggressive. I took it as,
they asked "How did you sleep"
    he went "Not too great"
    them "Here have a refund"
