Premier Inn currently have lots of cheap rooms available for £29 throughout the summer period. You must book for dates after the 4th July. There seems to be good availability throughout the summer holiday period, with there being many London hotels being available for £29 throughout July & August (please see the 2nd image below). I've just spent 4 months working on the frontline(NHS )without a break.
There have been some mad times.
We have a week in Cornwall booked for 6th July ,followed by 3 days in Eastbourne for a much needed catch up with friends and to make up for a cancelled March holiday with them.
We are going to enjoy every single minute!
So its going to start again, Flights and hotel deals
What rot, last week everyone was saying no holidays, 2 meters and no pubs, this week thats all gone to pot so , PLEASE, lets all just stop panicking and heat up this deal...
No thanks, that will take a while before I check into a hotel

Had a quick glance at Manchester in July and there's at least one Sunday night for £29.
Prices do seem to be an average of £38.50 which is probably half the usual price (Manchester Premier Inns quite often cost more for a night than some IHG and Hiltons)
Manchester Airport isn't appearing until around the 20th July, although the Cheadle hotels (About 5 mins drive / train away) are.
Do we know what they're doing breakfast (and other meal) wise?
Mostly stay in a PI at an airport and 90% of the time, they don't start breakfast until 6:30am when you've an 8am flight.

Sometimes I do end up being a position where I can eat, but don't want to find out there's nothing available or it's very limited.
This is going to get super hot.
A lot of hotels are showing as Fully Booked. I presume that these will come on sale as they become 'covid friendly'.

I booked two rooms with Premier Inn recently but for next June for a holiday to Scotland. I am hoping that there may be some normality by then. I certainly would not be booking anything for the next few months as too much uncertainty. I would say get insurance if you do but then I'm not sure if / how insurance policies now cover cancellation due to the coronavirus.

Insurance definitely won't cover. Hotels may offer in house 'insurance' to encourage bookings

5 mins drive from Cheadle you must be speeding
Ah nice. Bit too soon for me. Although I do have leave booked for end of September, am hoping by then thing will be a lot better and will look to travel a bit
Can't see a problem as long as you are careful and take the right precautions.

So very deserved enjoy
Can't beat premier inn for value for money.Booked 3 days August in Manchester.Cheap as chips.
I wouldn't recommend the Southampton one mentioned, it's the oldest hotel and is located right on a busy junction.

I haven't looked at the other prices but the other two hotels are very new and more centrally located.

One of them has only been open about a year too.
Screw this lockdown. Book book book!

Restaurants are closed in these hotels according to the booking info - this may change of course
Presumably no buffet breakfast? I suppose someone in full PPE might deliver it to your room !
Thanks for sharing.. looking for weekend break in July... but have to be cautious 😜
I take it concerts and sports events are a no go pretty much all next year aswell
Extra protection needed if people are booking any rooms 😏
I'd pay £29 to not have to stay in Southampton.
Supine 'at risk' babies need not apply. Thanks op
I don't think I would get any sleep, thinking of all the infected people that may have been coughing in that room let alone the bodily fluids.😨

By cleaning all surfaces in the room and bringing your own bedding.
Booked thanks 🔥
Oh my God, £32 for a Family Room in the Premier Inn in the centre of Bristol ?!!! That's ridiculously cheap.
Amazing deal.
Thanks, going to book a night away for me and the children.
What happens about pillow cases, pillows, mattress, curtains during Corona, not all they items are replaced in rooms, and the maids can’t clean that good.

If this virus lives on fabric as well as others things, no thanks.

Not all premier inns are opening up straight away in july. They will be a staggering opening so will take a while before all their sites are fully back open
Damn a lot in London are fully booked loool
Cheers just booked a family room in Kendal to use as somewhere to crash for the night whilst showing our kids their first experience of the Lake District for two days!
Just booked 4 nights in a family room at Worthing Sea Front for £170 in August, will use it as a base to visit places like Hastings & South Downs for a quiet family holiday, I like Premier Inns, nice big rooms, great price for August as I won't be going abroad this year.
