Was looking for cheap hotel in central London for November. Noticed new premier Inn opening at Westminster abbey which has rooms for £40.50 for Fri night (Nov 3rd). Had a check and seems to be prices from Oct (assume this is when opens) from ~£40 or ~£65 for sat night. No reviews obviously but one at Westminster St James nearby scores well. Seems like a good cheap no frills central London option. Hope this helps someone!

Is this one of those hotels where the rooms don't have any windows?

Hot for the price anyway but if so not for me as I find them claustrophobic :-(

Hot. Booked a couple stays. Thanks. Doesn't matter if compact don't go to London to sit in a room
Please check sleeping arrangements....hub beds can be boxed in so you might have to climb over someone to get out of bed......crappy if you need the toilet in the night
I've been in this hotel with work ( it isn't open yet) looks very nice !

Stayed at Kings Cross Hub last week, It had 5-6 floors above ground level, these have either a view outside or into a "courtyard", and they also had 1-2 floors below ground level, these obviously wouldn't have a view.
Great value for money, but only have double rooms, so had to leave kids with the in-laws .

You've not been to the Manchester Britannia then? I walked into my room and noticed something was amiss.

No windows, I'm not even claustrophobic but it did make it seem you were staying in a prison cell.

Most hotels' evacuation plans don't involve being rescued out of the window and many are sealed shut anyway. Have stayed in inside cabins on cruise ships and been very comfortable. A hotel in a big city is just a place to sleep for me and these rooms look pretty smart for the price.

They do have windows! Well the one I stayed in did, they're really good!
Cheap for London. Someone put a YouTube post on. Looks like a ships cabin.
thanks OP! I was looking for cheap hotel rooms in London now that Accorhotels have got rid of the Happy Mondays rate (RIP). heat
Stayed in the Covent Garden hub for one night. Loved it to be honest, comfy bed, good air con, there is a window, big TV and great shower! For the price in London, for a couple of people it was brill! Hot!

Plenty at time of posting. Still useful or shall I expire?
There may have been a Whitbread web page showing £40.50 once (was there?) but all I can see is 'from £69'. Soyes, maybe time to expire.
you can still get prices in the forties if you stay Sunday night in London. Best to use the main premier inn website and click on flexible dates
