Pretty damn good price tbh
Down from £55 and solid reviews
Looks nice as well, not the usual black/blue
Oh and self pump!

This Intex Dura-Beam Raised King Size Air Bed is great for when you need extra sleeping space, whether at home or on holiday. Intex Dura-Beam® air beds have horizontal air chambers for added stability and support around the entire bed. This king-sized air bed has a textured pillow top surface which provides extra comfort while its raised height makes it easy to get in and out of. Thanks to its lightweight Fiber-Tech™ interior construction made of high-strength fibers the air mattress does not stretch over time resulting in durability and long-lasting comfort. A built-in powerful pump inflates and deflates the airbed in approximately 3.5 minutes.

This inflatable mattress comes supplied with a handy carrying bag for easy transportation and storage.

This airbed when inflated measures approximately L203xW152xH46cm, a US queen size (slightly bigger than a British king-size mattress).

Its a whopper, would it hold a load of fat lads staying the bank holiday?

Few tidbits. Intex deals at Tesco often get reduced further after they've been reduced once, so worth keeping an eye of them. The length of my Intex bed was quite short, more suitable for kids really - this one by the looks of it is slightly longer by about 12cm so maybe that makes a difference. These things usually come with a decent sturdy bag, and the builtin pump works well for both inflating and deflating, but they're mains powered so if you intend to take this camping you'll need an electrical hookup.

It supports up to 273kg so definitely one, two might be pushing it

Hahaha! That's some right midnight banter there
I purchased 4 of these King Size mattresses for an abundance of Christmas visitors
Got the kitten recently she tend to scratch sofa sometimes. Afraid she will be able to puncture this bed? Or will the bedsurvive? thoughts

I reckon that's hard to say with certainty, but at a guess more likely ok than not.

Do some cats have power enough to puncture one of these? Yes
Do cats tend to like big inflatable things for clawing surfaces? Not so much.
Is the material on these thicker and more resilient than your average beach ball / cheap inflatable mattress? Yes.

I owed about 8 double ones they all fail after a while only single ones last long
We bought this from Tesco a couple weeks ago for this price, it’s defiantly a bargain. Took it camping and both slept perfectly on it, just as comfortable as our bed at home

Why don’t they make actual king sized air beds so you can then use the bottom sheets and quilts you’ve already got instead of having to buy double/queen sized?

Uk king is 198x150cm, I’d be very surprised if uk sheets don’t fit fine.
I got this when it was on offer at around £40. Not bad, does the job short term. A few negatives though bed is pretty solid in the middle and very soft on the sides. It also feels very cold to touch, no matter what you have on and even if you put bedsheets on.
We bought one a while back and have used it several times with no problems.

Look at it this way - if you buy two of them, if the cat “punctures the first, I'd put good money on this not happening to the second one.

Fitted sheets will move all over during the night, my point still is why don’t they make an actual U.K. king sized air bed

No need to! I read it correctly in the first place and my comment about not doing U.K. king sized air beds still stands!
Am I the only one that read Intex Dura as Durex
Thanks op, purchased one. Good value for money.

They don’t, we took the fitted sheet off our bed on a camping trip and it stayed fitted to this air bed all weekend.
Out of stock

Did anyone order 2 and has one to spare?

PM please
Had two single versions of these for light use at the weekends. The pumps on both of them failed within six months. They also lose firmness after a few hours.
Nice one. This should be great for camping though not looking forward to the manual inflate. Might get a 12 volt inverter. In any case much better than the ones we have been using the last few years.
