Simple really, go to MyGatwick, choose your date of travel and offers will appear. The first one is access to the premium security area in Gatwick so you can whiz your way through the work part of an airport and get straight to the lounge for one whole Pound instead of the usual £5. (Or free with No1 Lounge
Everytime I’ve used this line, the regular queue has next to no wait, but for £1 you can as good as guarantee it.
Good enough for me, costs the same as a Freddo at Gatwick.

Although good value at £1, if everyone buys one I don't think there will be a Premium feel or anything like fast track

regus ecpress lounge maybe free for an hour but they charge for snacks
@james42041 are we flying from here or Heathrow?
Queues in fast track as it at the moment.
Thanks OP, got one
The doesn't t open till 4am , so no use for my 545 flight, hopefully won't be too many crowds at that time any how.
An excellent way to avoid the imbeciles who seem to loose all common sense as they approach security and leave liquids, laptops etc in their bags which delays everyone else.

Gatwick is especially bad for this. I've seen entire lanes backed up and complete gridlock because so many trays are flagged. It's quite frankly ridiculous how stupid people can be and well worth £1 to avoid getting caught up in this.
Shame they don’t a “My Orlando International Airport” premium line skip......
.....now that would be worth a £1
Last time I was in Gatwick, the line was so short it took me longer to walk through the queue maze than to wait.
If you do sign up, you can also get 25% off the lounges (pre book) if you don't want to mingle with the commoners too, which also includes a premier pass.

Although looking at the reviews so the south terminal lounges, they dont look that fantastic.

Flying on a bank holiday Monday so still might be well worth it for me :-)
Last few times I travelled through Gatwick, they seem to have got their act together and the whole security process was actually pretty quick. £1 is very cheap though!

Heathrow I'm afraid!
Wish they'd have something similar for getting out of Gatwick Airport - the security process coming back through passport control in Gatwick is painfully slow - we have 2 young kids so can't use our biometric passports via the e-gates, so end up queuing at least half hour to get through passport control. I'd definitely pay to go through there quickly

Believe it or not, they do. Currently £5.40 though and can be bought through MyGatwick as well.

Ooooh, this is new. They must've released this service recently. I might give this a try on our way back from summer hols. Anyone tried it out yet?
