Great find OP, Heat added Some great titles there including Infamous Second Son, Dead Rising 3 and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

Heat! Although the big game i wanted DR3 is oos

All the ones I want are out of stock >,

not really a great deal considering that most of these are around the £15 mark preowned
Edited by: "KCooperman" 5th Dec 2014

isn't software 3 month warranty,?

Some of the games aren't such a good deal but, others definitely are :-)

If you find an item OOS online, you can now check stock at your local store....
Just hit "Check Stock In Store" button and enter your postcode...

but the instore price is different so it's kind of pointless! I want to know whats happened to the stock notification!

They may honour it, I'd argue it out with them when I go and collect... but I too would like to know where the stock notification button has gone.

Game offer a 12 month warranty on all preowned games.

Not a bad deal but wanted BF4 on ps4 which is OOS

Put me down for 2x copies of Knack!

Cheers, TR and ACBF for me... now that I've bought them I can guarantee they'll be on Ps plus in Feb And March

Amazon:
Wolfenstien PS4 New = £19.85
Tomb Raider PS4 New = £19.41
Total = £39.26

Thus a saving of just £9.26, or roughly £4.63 a game. That gets you a USED copy with no DLC, potentially scratched discs and greasy fingerprints on the instructions.

Several other games in this offer are also sub £20. This is NOT a good deal. Game are usually expensive for pre-owned, this is no different!

This is a good deal especially if your xmas shopping for the kids on a budget. You can get 2 or 3 preowned for the same price as a new game.
Edited by: "esclad" 5th Dec 2014

For PS4 I would suggest Wolfenstein and Infamous - both excellent. Tomb Raider is also great. Black flag boring as is Watch dogs. Loved Battlefield campaign but Ghosts is sort of redundant now.

Cheap though so Hot all round.

Not working for me is there a code

Do games come with instructions anymore? I've just bought Far Cry 4 and it came with 1 piece of paper with the controls on.

its 20 quid new in tesco

£20 Tesco brand new.

I think there's an echo...

Preowned/brand new... They both look the same and both do the same job.
Fingerprints can easily be cleaned.
Any scratches that effect play means I just exchange it in-store within 12 months.
I have bought brand new/sealed games in the past with BIG scratches due to the disc not being secure so there are no guarantees!
Why pay more? I think some people have OCD.

Good if you pick your games, but you can get some of these at £15 or less anyway. I paid £9.99 for MGS and £12.99 for Trials (pre-owned) in GAME not so long back...

Check individual prices first elsewhere would be your best bet on this one.

I agree, let alone I got two of the listed games recently for under 15 pounds brand new. Wolfenstein for 17.99 brand new. With all dlc codes included.

Pedantic. You know exactly what I mean.

Ummm, most games have some kind of DLC included when new. Second hand games have usually expired these codes, so for the sake of £4 I think I'd rather get the new game.

I haven't got OCD, but I do have a brain,

Original Poster

So do I, you can get the DLC at a later date in a sale for £1-£2.

Decent deal, shame no NBA 2K14 for the XBOX One though.

I've just posted that.

So I can buy a second/third hand game for £4 less than new, risk it being cosmetically damaged and without DLC, then wait a few months in the hope the DLC becomes available in a "sale" for £2 (bearing in mind that some DLC cannot be bought if it's exclusive) in the hope that I save £2 overall?!?

Alternatively I can spend £4 more and have a brand new item, complete with DLC now.

Does option 1 sound like a HOT DEAL to anyone else?

It's a good enough deal for anyone who wants 2 games they are yet to play and haven't got the extra money to get them new.
I've already had most of the games on the list but will get Ryse and Dead Rising 3 for my new Xbox 1 that I got in the Black Friday sale last

You are arguing purely from a price perspective, im discussing the actual deal. Regardless of if the buyer has the money to buy the games new (£4 more!) it doesnt make it a good deal. Value for money wise £4 more for a brand new item cant be beat. Hence the deal is cold, even though the price may be more beneficial to someone else. I cant believe people are defending a deal whereby the retailer has paid the lowest price to buy these games in, then are charging nearly full retail to sell them!

Hey, its your money!

Ok let's have a look at the list of games at full RRP vs the 2 for £30 deal shall we?

Just on Game website alone -

Watch Dogs - NEW - £49.99 - PRE-OWNED - £15 (a little more than an extra £4 I think)

Trials Fusion - NEW £26.99 - PRE OWNED - £19.99 (Ooooh look more than £4 here too)

Call of Duty:Ghosts - NEW £29.99 PRE OWNED - £19.99 (Guess what? Yep your right more than £4)

Dead Rising 3 - NEW - £27.99 - PRE OWNED £19.99 (Well what do you know? Another game a little more than the £4 you mentioned)

Knack - NEW - £26.99 - PRE OWNED £17.99 (I think there's a pattern emerging here....)

Ryse - NEW £27.99 - PRE OWNED £17.99 (Yep I was right)

Tomb Raider - NEW £24.99 PRE OWNED £19.99 (You were soooooo close to the magical £4 there)

Assassin's creed Black Flag - NEW £44.99 PRE OWNED £17.99 (Bloody hell it's another game a little more than £4)

NBA 2k14 - NEW £24.99 PRE OWNED £17.99 (These patterns eh?)

Infamous Second Son - NEW £52.99 PRE OWNED £17.99 I was sooo amazed at the lack of £4 more in this lot)

So as you can see there are some massive savings to be made on these games.

Oh just so you don't think I'm only showing the massive reductions here are the games that fall into the "only £4 more" bracket.

Wolfenstein - NEW £19.99 PRE OWNED £17.99

Thief - NEW £19.99 PRE OWNED £17.99

They are actually only £2 more new than pre owned but still your point is valid.

There is even some (1 to be exact) that are EXACTLY the same price new as pre owned

Metal Gear Solid 5 : Ground Zeroes - NEW £17.99 PRE OWNED £17.99

There are also some (3 to be exact) games listed that are actually CHEAPER new on the Game website (And here they are)

Titanfall - NEW £17.50 PRE OWNED £17.99

Battlefield 4 - NEW £15.00 PRE OWNED £19.99

Madden NFL 25 - NEW £15 PRE OWNED £19.99

As far I can see these are actually good deals from the game website. Now I'm not saying you can't get each of these games cheaper but I'm just illustrating a point here.
So all in all a good deal in my humble opinion
