Preowned Playstation TV £30 @ CEX

Found 10th Dec 2015
Not expecting much heat here but might be good for someone who has stock nearby and some vouchers to get rid off.

Since CEX pricing is not that great for buying (except some deals posted lately) and no point of keeping these century long vouchers, you can get something useful for your console.

You can also spend your store vouchers online now, as a payment method.

Please bear in mind there is a £2.5 delivery charge - so £27.50 if you need to have it delivered

Now £32.50 delivered, price has changed

You either paid less or you bought it cheaper btw, but I doubt it

one thing to note as I found out. you will need a Sony brand ps vita memory card which are stupidly expensive. taking 65 cheapest for a 64gb one. they micro sd don't work

bit annoying and it won't log into my ps4 from downstairs to my bedroom from a plugged extender

Doubt what you want. I know what I paid.

and do not forget to stream PS4 over network..

Can't an Android phone do that? Kind of a waste to use PSTV for mere streaming.

Try changing the connection type from Direct to Use Wifi or visa versa. Lots of people reported this as a main issue when launched.

It's essentially a Vita without the screen and mine used to work fine 2 stories up from the router.

Not that i know of, my Sony Xperia can, but that's about it,

Yeh it likely wouldn't be, but it's doable.

They are also officially developing remote play for PC, I'm waiting for that personally. Just hope I can get it working on Steam link

As long as it's HDish stuff it looks pretty good. PS1 and PSP look decent too if you're not picky about graphics.

Cheers, that decided whether or not this was worth it for me. Why on earth would they insist on pulling that again with PSTV when people are clearly not thrilled about not being able to use regular SD cards on the vita?

Even the greatest minds are sometimes shortsighted. MiniDisc, memory sticks and now playstation memory cards.

Made me laugh way more than I should have!
Showing as £30 now, still a good deal. Anyone know if these are with box, CEX usually state if it is or not but hasn't here.
The vouchers last a millennium rather than a century, I wonder what you'll be able to get from Cex in 3015!

I had a spare Wii u pro controller and got this pstv straight swap. Still trying to get it to perform as well as a steamlink

hard to say. It is a gamble with them. Sometimes you get brand new seal item, other time it has major marks. Good thing now is that you can return it at store as well within 14 days
Ordered this and reviewed it between Xmas and new year. Set it up but not properly tested it yet. Come boxed, although it was a bit tatty, the pstv looks in pretty good nick. Although it did have someone else's PlayStation network ID signed into it so I did a full reset. The vita games came brand new and still sealed.

As others have said you will need a vita memory card which are stupidly expensive. The built in 1gb will fill up pretty quick if you are playing vita and Psone games.

The set up is the same as the vita. Would of loved a ps4 similar set up but it's still easy to navigate. Although I've not tested playing a streamed ps4 game it did connect to my ps4 pretty quick via wifi and could navigate the menus pretty lag free but it all does depend on your own set up

Hope this helps anyone
