How is this a deal at RRP?

Very expensive paperweight.

How is this a deal at RRP?

Cold I wouldn't pay RRP for a second hand unit.

I reckon cex will be inundated with these soon.

i think they already are both the stores near me have 10 plus in stock. hence the big price drop from cex to what it was a couple of weeks ago

Edited by: "voyager123" 5th Nov 2016

Eh, this is what new PSVRs sell for. I also can't regard something as a good deal just because it's in stock, so it's cold from me.
I'm absolutely sold on PSVR BTW, I'll be buying it at the right price.

I paid that new

Yeah, people tried them and they didn't like so now CeX's got plenty stock although not many are buying. Serves them right for scalping and now having too much stock.

they were about £100 more a couple of weeks ago from cex, looks like an extraordinary high number of people getting rid of them in first few weeks, its supposed to have a very poor attachment rate

Ok, I was trying to inform people that the PSVR can be purchased for a decent price RRP (well at least less than most sellers on ebay, gumtree are looking for). Most of these will have been used a few times or maybe new.

If you dont like what I have posted you can make it colder than Siberia for all I care

I think it's more to do with people pre ordering them to make a quick profit rather than people buying them not liking it and selling it so quickly.

Happens all the time. Like the the XB1s first came out CEX was giving £320-£350 cash for them. Pokemon Go watch. Nintendo selling them for £35 new CEX was giving £60 cash for them due to the low stock.

Same thing will happen with the PS4 Pro next week most likely.

Edit: Infact CEX are still giving £60 cash for a £35 Pokemon Go Plus Stap. uk.webuy.com/pro…017

Good chance most of them are brand new from people who pre ordered to make an easy few quid. Also CEX are known to buying brand new stock of new consoles or accessories and selling for higher prices.

Thats what I think and if you want you can go into a store and look at the what you are buying.

I don't know why people are complaining about the deal seeing as people buy CEX vouchers on here for 80% of its face value, so if you buy enough vouchers, it will work out as £280 cash rather than £350

These could be considered a better deal (especially if you find a new condition one in your local branch) as you get a 24 month warranty with CeX.
Thanks for the heads-up op. No pun intended

ha pre owned for £350 pft move along people nothing to see here.

CEX give a 24 month warranty so better than most retailers, as poster said above buy £350 vouchers for £280, heat from me

I tried to sell mine to CEX last week. As I handed it over for testing one of the employee said are we still taking these in? Well surprise surprise when I returned and hour later to be told it's not working! What a joke. Because it was working when I handed it over. Anyway I just took it back to Argos with the receipt and they gave me my money back. I'm never going to CEX again after this fiasco.
Edited by: "Nomoretrade" 6th Nov 2016

think you'll find plenty of these are brand new and sealed as people that work in CEX pre ordered them and sold to CEX as they was paying £450 cash per unit as the county was out-of stock! when they first came out CEX had stock on day one for £510.
