Just noticed the Wii Premium bundles are back in stock at Game (fair condition). Definitely still worth a purchase, regardless of the Switch due to its fantastic library of games

Solus console also available from Grainger Games for £119.99

Game selling Wii u bundles at this price for ages.

I never stated otherwise bud. I was just looking at the one at Grainger Games for £100.99 and just had a quick check of Game. I've noticed them on there from time to time and OOS. Just thought it was worth a share.

Well worth the price. I bought one, without games, from Game last year for £99 and it was immaculate condition (obviously very lucky). The screen size is the same as the Switch and when connected to the TV the difference in the graphics of Zelda BOTW on Wii U vs Switch is hardly noticeable. With a strong WiFi set up we can play the Wii U anywhere in the house.
If you want portable gaming away from the home then buy the Switch.
Anyone else got experience of the "fair condition" of these things from Game? I was looking at some in CEx the other day and they were hideously filthy and worn.

I've just tried with PayPal and it worked right up to the 'pay now' part.
Been trying for a while to buy these and they always fail after payment as out of stock...
I bought one privately last year, paid a chunk less with mario kart 8 and splatoon installed. It was immaculate, and since buying i've seen many other similar set ups for similar cash. Of course there's no warranty.

The main reason for buying it was zombie U, which I picked up new soon after - it's great on the U and makes perfect use of the gamepad. MK8 doesn't - it's apparent the system has nowhere enough power to render to separate full screens at the same time so it's split screen on gamepad and tv. Still a good kart game! Unlike Sega superstars thing - bought that as was a huge Sega fanboy in the 90's - it's not a patch on MK8.

Otherwise i'm struggling on titles to play - I've got super smash bros tucked away but until a reasonably priced controller crops up for 2 player fun it's pretty pointless to us.

Hi AJ
Yes I bought one in December and it was very clean. The screen was perfect, light hairline scratches to the console as they are so shiny is almost impossible to prevent and it works perfectly.

I bought the console only.
It's a good time to be owning a Wii u at moment some excellent games on ebay for under £20, saw bayonetta 2 for £12 brand new last week
Good deal, would get one if I didn't have such a backlog.

re: the above comments game's preowned condition, I've had a 3DS XL which had the screen scratched, and photos of I assume the bloke's missus in... Poses without clothes. Despite trying to return it and say I has 2 weeks even if there was nothing wrong, they still made a thing of it then tried to blame the photos on me. Doesn't take away from the deal, just goes with them Game's infamous shocking in store customer service. The console was bought online, but you might wanna watch out if you have kids

Show your true dedication press the 'pay now' button.. Dooooooo it 🤣
They're OOS for me - says basket is empty after clicking Pay Now. Game is such a tease.
Hmm I got a pro Wii u with 70 physical games, 5 black Wiimotes, pro controller and around 15 eshop games on it. Thinking about selling it off to fund my new obsession (my switch lol) anyone got a ballpark price that I should be putting this on ebay and such for? Thought I'd ask

Same here, it gets past that point and gives up
Expired this, if anybody has any success. Do let me know

I picked up a white one for £89.99 purely to play Zelda BOTW, they claimed it was Grade C as the screen had a few minor scratches (not visible when switched on). Few days later I realised it had a screen cover on it. Guess its down to luck. If your not happy with the one you get you could return it and try your luck in another store.

The games (such as Luigi Bros U) held their value for a long time and then went down considerably, not helped by the launch of the selects range.

To be honest I’m amazed you’ve got 70 games I didn’t realise there were that many released!

I can’t help with a figure but you’d probably be better splitting. Check CEX as a guideline.

Some games like Black Ops2 were under a five even a couple of years ago, Mario titles should hold more value. For me there’s only about 15-20 must haves (and even that’s pushing the definition!)

I got one with some games on a hard drive a while back. The console has died so I bought a replacement console and my games won't play on it. Any ideas how to get them to work or are they lost. All my time getting to the levels on the game wasted not to mention the cost of getting the games again.

You're joking right? MK8 is flawless in split screen, we play it 2 and 4 player with the controllers regularly, even on 200cc mode, there are zero problems with rendering at all. We never use the tablet gamepad except for settings as we hate it.

You have misunderstood his post.

A game like Sonic Racing, playing in 2 player mode puts a different image on both Gamepad and TV so both players have a full screen to themselves. (no splitting of any screen)

MK8 just mirrors the same screen to TV and Gamepad so you get the splitscreen on both.

Obviously the Sonic approach takes more processing power as it's effectivley running 2 seperate full screen images at once. The console cannot handle doing it that way with MK8 due to the better graphics and effects.
Total pot luck on the condition of these. Thankfully there are a fair few gamers out there who take pride in their haul. I know if I sold my Wii U for example, someone would be getting one in immaculate condition. There are many out there the exact same, so always worth a punt!
If anyone is looking at selling their Wii u and it’s mega mint then please drop me a pm. Cheers guys...and gyals :-

Zelda/mk8 as well. Looks like it's just smash Bros that's oos hence that bundle is annoyingly.

All bundles appear back in stock now incase anyone was after the mario bundle
With the Switch going for £200-50 and the Wii U hanging around £120, the Switch is looking the much better option at the moment
Hi all, this probably wants refreshing as I just successfully placed an order for the Mario kart 8 / twilight princess bundle at this price
