You'll need to price order from lowest first to see all of the £6.95 glasses. Add your prescription information to your order + any extras.

Use code SPECS795 TO get an extra £2 off the price, bringing them down to £4.95 + £3 P&P - £7.95

A fair few to choose from on there.

how much would the 2 for £10 be? would you be able to enter more than 1 code so your discount can be used on this deal?

I use their USA website. The service is exactly the same, the codes all work & a favourable exchange rate means the prices are about a third cheaper!

2 for £10 is £10

The discount codes don't usually work properly. Like if an offer should only be for the £6.95 frames, you can add more expensive frames and they just charge you the difference (because the codes are basically -£3 or whatever). It's great.

Their offers change regularly. Our favourite recently was "free tints", but the 2FOR15 (iirc) code still worked. We ended up with a couple of pairs of prescription sunglasses with more expensive frames for about £10 each. Bargain.

Takes a couple of weeks to arrive from Bangladesh or wherever it is, but decent quality.

BE CAREFUL IF USING THE "MY PRESCRIPTION" FEATURE - WILL SOMETIMES LOAD SOMEONE ELSE'S PRESCRIPTION!

CHECK YOUR PRESCRIPTION DETAILS AT THE CHECKOUT BEFORE YOU BUY!

On the one hand, their website is awful. On the other hand, exploiting offers is great.

If I remember correctly, these are being sold and despatched from Pakistan.

Hot

Love Goggles4U. Customer service has always been great whenever I've had issues, too.

That might be the case, but I have found their service delivery levels spot on. Never had a problem with them, you do have to wait a week or thereabouts for your glasses but at these prices you'd be mad to go to Specsavers.

What issues have you had with them?

What issues have you had with them?

Most recently, it was sunglasses tint - I've always ordered brown and brown is what I got. For some reason they now post out brown tints which are amber (this might have changed as it was a few months ago). Complained with pictures of older sunglasses bought from them for comparison and they sent a replacement - which were also amber tint! Gave up after that.

Had one pair where the nose pad came off, but my local Specsavers kindly fixed it (they post glasses out with a repair tool and extra nose pads anyway) - complained to G4U as the glasses were quite new and they told me to choose another pair, this was a few years ago.

Good deal pal

Ordered some from here when they had an offer on a few weeks ago. Arrived within a couple of weeks and are great for the price.

Good cheap glasses from there if you use the various codes, try SAL15 or SAL20 too they sometimes give better discounts than free postage
EDIT Sorry code 10OFF or 15OFF may work

Great, just lost my spare pair, so have ordered a replacement. I've used them in the past with no problems for me or my daughter

Cold....you get what you pay for

why cold you order glasses you get glasses what were you expecting a Lamborghini!

UKSHIPPING gives £3 off

I just ordered two frames from their US site with voucher BOGO which costed me £18 total (including anti reflective coating which is not free on the US website). The frames on UK website are £15 each, but anti reflective coating is free.

After waiting over 2 weeks for the glasses to arrive they were totally unusable. They got my prescription wrong and yes I did enter the measurements correctly. Never again will I use Googles4U. Hassle getting refund now!

Thanks for sharing OP!

Thanks for posting heat

There is very little competition in the optical arena as most of the brands are owned by a single compeany
luxottica.com/en/…nds

They also own most of the retailers in the EU, USA and Asia and somehow manage to keep prices up

I ordered for someone, just a cheap pair to see if they were any good

they arrived today and they can see better with these than their normal expensive ones

possibly down to incorrect PD or something with their other glasses but still for the price they're a bargain

I've been using them for a few years and they're absolutely brilliant.

I once ordered an expensive pair from them (1.56 Photocromic Grey with Anti Reflective, for £40). I wasn't happy with them when they arrived (can't remember why but it was a small issue, a missing screw or something). I emailed them, and they asked me to take a few close-up photos, which I did, and they sent another pair of same specs for free.

So it might worth emailing them and see what they say. You may surprise you with their excellent customer service.

So glad i had laser treatment. I was short sighted and had ONE eye done and now i have 20/20 vision for just £500

Lucky you only have one eye. Most people have two so that would be £1k. Plus you get 20/20 until your mid 40s.

Just ordered a cheap pair as a spare, see how they go.

I ordered 2 pairs a few years back, they were a little iffy - Just wasn't right, popped in my details correctly too. Luck of the draw maybe.

ooh tell me more. What cages to the visual acuity in mid 40s?
I only ask as I know the answer is nothing.
Also, bit of a pet hate 20/20 is American. In the rest of the world it would be written 6/6 and is actually below average visual acuity.

*changes

I bought 2 pairs 1 for reading the other for driving, both of them were not the correct prescription I was getting headaches and tired eyes and went to optician who did my eye test she told me the glasses were not just a bit out but way off the prescription as I have a couple of weak sight spots and the glasses I had been sent were actually making that worse. If it hadnt been for the headaches I would have kept using the glasses as they didnt seem to be so bad.
I contacted Goggles4U and they said they would replace them, the replacements were actually worse then the first ones and it took weeks of e-mails to get my money back.

Might order a spare pair.

I'd always been a bit short sighted in both eyes but they started to change and i found myself struggling to read small print. I went to Optimax in London and they suggested monovision for me. It was the cheaper treatment with wave mapping. I'd assumed they sell me the more expensive treatment. They explained that if had both eyes done I'd still need reading glasses. Im glad to say 5yrs later im very happy.

Does anyone know if you can order "test" pairs to see if they look good on you and then you send them back? Like a try-on facility.. I know one online retailer does it, but idk which one/if others also joined that scheme..
