Expect to wait 6 to 7 weeks for delivery in my experience
Yes agreed the delivery time can be super long. Brother had to chase them 3 times. Still heat added for price
Shame, I’m so blind they don’t do my strength
Order now for summer 2019?
Plus £4.99 delivery! Still a good price.
Thank you OP.
Got eye test this week. Where do people go to buy glasses? Heard few people do it online and put a debit or credit card on their head. Take a picture. The online company can work out the sizes from that? High street opticians are very expensive. These online places much better? Just sceptical of the fitting

Snap! +8.50...

Not overly concerned anyway, a lot of the sunglasses are incredibly ugly and would not suit thick lenses anyway. Best to stick with contact lenses I think!

I think I'd avoid a company that needs that method...

Glasses Direct everytime. Bought my last 4 pairs from here (forever losing them) after being fed up paying high street prices. Had a bit of a mare with delivery last time but they made it up to me with a partial refund.

Check em out
I've found the best for value/service is the £25 range at Specsavers, especially since they now have a tool that more acturately works out horlw your prescription fits your face.
Not a very exciting answer I know, but the £25 range look no cheaper than the expensive ones imo, in fact my latest glasses have had tons of positive comments.it's all about choosingwhat suits you (not going by the brand).
I've had some bad experiences in the past, but they have been good for me lately, and are much easier to deal re problems if they do crop up, than mail order. I have never felt comfortable getting glasses from someone who has never even seen you.. Call me old fashioned.

Dafuq?
Great deal however, your prescription may be out of date once you receive the glasses due to the incredibly long delivery time!

I love the idea of people taking photos of the bank cards held against their foreheads. Then checking their accounts to find they have been a victim of card fraud.

"Hello HSBC.. someone's been spending money on my card and it wasn't me.".

"Hello sir.. we noticed some unusual activity on your account and started an investigation already. Have you done anything silly?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well sir.. we have turned up some evidence. You've been taking selfies with your bank card pressed against your forehead and sending them to random companies. And you want to be refunded for... ?"

Nope. I was replying to this:

This is their usual price. When they do proper offers they are better than this ie I got a pair of prescription Superdry glasses for £12 +delivery

Got converse reading glasses before. 3 and bit weeks of waiting. Great company, much better than spec savers in Woolwich, my lens was hanging out the frame when I got them home. Wouldn't use them again.

Would order sun glasses but I got some Nike Avator (believe that's the style) years ago for £130 so would feel bad buying a 2nd pair of sunglasses. ><

What's their delivery like?
Would they reglaze my existing prescription sunglasses for the same price?
Use code SPECKY5BACK for another 5% off the price.

Last order I made was a bogoff deal. One pair of the frames I ordered were damaged when the lenses were being fitted.

Amazingly they told me it was the last pair they had. Had a nightmare with the order as it got stuck in their system. Called and complained and they gave me a partial refund.

Then replacement pair took ages to arrive. So called again qnd got another 10% back. Ended up getting two pairs of thin lenses treated and uv protection for 80 quid when all was said and done.

Previous orders were fine.

Overall worth it as still far cheaper than any high street.

What's the time frame from when you ordered to delivery?

Should be a couple of weeks normally. That one took a couple weeks to recieve my first pair and 6 or 8 weeks to get the second (can't remember). But like I say they did compensate me too.
Be mindful of added extras like scratch proof and anti glare. 20 quid soon becomes 60 - 80 quid.

If you don't add this for £19.95, they will email you offering it for £9.95 before confirming order
Glasses direct way better in my opinion AND much faster for delivery. I think theirs are £42 for 2 at the moment:

£49 frames:
"GLASSES19" for £30 off
Buy one get one free
+£10x2 for sunglass lenses
£3 delivery
=£42

They sometimes run offers where sunglass lenses are free upgrade too, might be worth waiting for that if you are in no hurry
I'm after reactolite or other that do same thing (the ones that go darker the brighter it is )glasses . Anyone know of best place or any deals
Good afternoon.
