I returned mine and got the Karcher, after trying to clean my deck with this.

It did the patio ok, but was useless for the deck. At less than half the price, you wouldn't expect the same performance though

Won't bother if you are allowed to use it and return
Got 58% from Which magazine.

PROS: Small, light and easy to move and store, comparatively low water usage, variable nozzle provides some choice of cleaning jet, very cheap

CONS: Short hose makes it awkward to use, noisy, not provided with a detergent dispenser, can't shift some weeds, algae, moss or decking grime
Although you will be able to lift a bit of dirt with this little washer, it doesn't have the power to completely remove grime and the short hose is a bit awkward to use. It is not a Best Buy.

What is it?

This is B&Q's own-brand compact pressure washer. It has a short 3m hose and a fairly low-powered 1400W motor, which can generate 70-bar water pressure - a low value for a pressure washer. B&Q claims it will be good for cleaning bikes, garden tools and garden furniture.

It's a small, upright unit measuring 58 x 25 x 22cm (h x w x d). It weighs just 5.6kg, which is very light for a pressure washer. It comes with a lance and variable fan-jet nozzle. It has on-board storage for the lance and a bracket to hang the cable on.

What's it great at?

Nothing, apart from being light to move around.

Is there anything I should watch out for?

The short hose makes this washer awkward to use, particularly for working your way around a car, where it could not lift thicker dirt and grime from the wheels and bodywork. It lacks power to get concrete and paving slabs looking as good as new, left moss and weeds between the cracks in block paving, and grime in the grooves of decking.

It has a variable-spray nozzle that creates a jet that encourages a forward-and-backwards cleaning motion; you need to turn the lance awkwardly if you prefer to wash side to side. The hose has to be screwed into the body to prepare it for cleaning, which is less convenient to use than a push-fit connection.

It is noisy, too.

Is there anything else I should know?

It should be easy to store, but the flimsy cable bracket is a bit useless, so you end up winding the cable around the body. You may also end up removing the hose for storage because it is not tidy to wind around the body.

Should I buy it?

This is a mediocre pressure washer. Overall, it is a bit limited and you may struggle to clean dirtier surfaces. Choose a Best Buy instead.
That will do the job? What job will it do though?

Decking probaenbly wouldn't come clean decent without a good chemical for that price if it keeps the " I'm in the area would your drive cleaning "guys away then for that price worth a punt me i have the k4 no complaints

KArcher are just the bees knees in everything though aren't they. I spent many years learning the lesson of trying to buy stuff on the cheapest brand or non brand. But alas i realised in the end. I not bothered about the latest model but always on look out for cheap deals on good products now. I like to pay less but still for the best products. . .
Tried online to click and collect through my local B&Q and says none available, went in store and there is a pallet load of them at £42! No one would help me, so got bored and went home
