Just that the Ryobi is 120 Bar, so may be made by the same manufactrer for different companies.

Sticking my neck out i would say for a decent clean anything above 100 bar should do it.I have a 110 bar Karcher and always takes the dirt off the patio slabs well (Using a dirtblaster nozzle).

110/120 bar and a minimum 1800 watt motor

(pain in the arse type)

@ Jonbhoy

Thanks. My house has awful cheap exterior paint that gets green from living next to the sea.

Thanks to OP, heat added. Patios or not, it's still a cracking deal.

this would do the job but just take 3 times as long as say a 120 bar one. Get a decent one if that is going to be its main use.

the ryobi website states their 120 bar washer output 360L which is the same as this 80 bar one so quite confusing as to how good this one is.

This may seem like a stupid question but do pressure washers need outside taps or can they be routed to an inside tap?

Thanks

Samuel

You can hook they up inside using an adaptor

Ahh the same part which doesn't fit any of our taps, cheers anyway.

You can get different ones thats just an example i found

jut wondering if this is worth getting, can't find any reviews or info on it

Excellent price but don't expect to do much with it. I've had lots of pressure washers over the years (they fail faster than any other electrical implement), including Karcher. Unless you go for something big you'll just end up frustrated with it, especially on something like a large area of patio or path.

Re car washing, fine for taking off mud, cleaning wheelarches, etc. but if it's powerful enough to really remove traffic film it's also powerful enough to remove badges, trim, etc. They also advise against direct use on tyres as it can compromise them. Yes, those high pressure hoses are a pain in the rear too. Frankly, if you've got a car you care about and decent mains water pressure a bucket and sponge with hose to rinse is better.

To repeat earlier advice - don't store anywhere subject to frost. Any water left inside will freeze and wreck it.

Awful weak

I picked up a 100 bar washer from b&q for only £10 a while ago, and thats reasonable for washing the car. Any slabs, decking or stone walls require 120+ in my opinion

Indeed, spend your money on some good car care products and next time you wash you wont need pressure

Just use with a little caution on paint mate.Might still seem a lower pressure than a decent say 100-120 bar machine but might still rip off some paint.Just a little warning.

Got my local that has stock to check the price and its £48.98 on the system, they said it might of only been that price last week.

Still showing as £30 online for reserve and collect. Was marked as £70 on the shelf in my local, but still scanned through as £30.

Picked one up yesterday. Quite impressed. It is very small, lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. It is powerful enough to do patios, but it is a case of getting the balance between power and the spread of the spray. When set to the most concentrated jet, it is very pinpoint and would take hours to do one brick. Widen the spray a bit and you can get a reasonable balance between cleaning power and spread.

For £30 I am very pleased with it.
