I'd really recommend spending a little extra and buying a stainless steel pressure cooker.

I've had this one for a few years now. I've replaced the seal. Apparently things should be replaced after a years use. I've got a stainless steel one too. Difference is one fades, stains easily and loses its shine. I've abused it terribly and it works fine.
