Thanks.
went for the stainless steel 7.5ltr tower @ £37

Thanks. Bought one for £34.

Was about to order one to replace my old prestige stainless cooker, till I noticed this one only reaches 12psi, so would take a fair bit longer to cook.

I had this and returned it-not happy with the flimsy plastic pressure mechanism. Also, the lid was not dishwasher safe, only the base was.

I can't recall seeing a pressure cooker with a dishwasherable lid.

hi

Do all companies state the psi on the description? if not how can I find out? as I'd like to buy a good pressure cooker & I was wondering if you'd be kind enough to advise on how to find out

Most manufacturers would state the pressure in either PSI or kPa (15psi is approx 103kpa, 12psi is 82kPa), check the manufacturer's website and other shop listings for the same model if is not stated on the store you're buying from. Failing that, Amazon reviews. Also worth checking reviews to get some idea how long the seals last, and check the price/availability of replacements.

The 7.5 litre stainless Tower one on tesco is 100kPa.
